The troll one was memorable to me because IT DID NOT BELONG. These assholes singing silly songs while everything is going to shit

Yeah nobody wanted that song to happen so it felt beyond awkward.

yeah the comic relief aspect was strange but i thought the song was nice, and unlike Olaf's song (which I forgot to mention but was still quite good (: ) it actually did help to move the plot forward a little.

Nymphomaniac. A really different film. A work of art really!

I was expecting a movie where lots of sex would cause some controversy and it would be quite silly but I was pleasantly surprised at how well thought this movie was. It isnt even erotic at all, most of the sex scenes are quite mechanical, which I think enhance the story telling and how her nymphomania has effected her life.

Stellan Skarsgard I thought was very good. His scenes with the main character where really entertaining, especially his metaphors.

Anyways just watch it!

Monsters University

Now I remember why I don't watch G movies anymore. Not a bad film = it was creative and stuff but you know.

i think the last movie i watched was a documentary on bronies with my roommate. i was considerably drunk so im not sure if i can comment on its content, but at the time i found it very entertaining. it's on netflix (US).

YES.

it is odd. i don't mean to offend any bronies, but the movie was pretty weird. but after watching it i guess i understand the community a bit more.

they only briefly addressed the pony porn though, in like a song or something. it was hilarious.

The Place Beyond The Pines

anyone see this? It was good but very strange... It's hard for me to write a synopsis/thoughts on this one. Crazy narrative structure.

So fucking good. I want to watch it for a third time but haven't found it on HBO again.

Did it win any awards at all at the Oscars?
