There are four of us kids, I have an older sister that got into trouble, basically blamed everything bad in her life on my parents, and we've not seen her for decades.
I have a younger brother (10yrs younger), and he's always been a bit of the black sheep. So he drops off the radar, and doesn't call and we can't find him or call him either.
I found him 6mo ago (he works at a BBQ place I get food from) and I try to keep up with him, and invited him to the big family trip we took to SD last month.
He was actually going to go, but out of nowhere texts me asking me if we invited my older sister.
I just told him "no, it would be awkward for mom and dad".
After a pretty large, ranting text about love, healing and acceptance (that I attempted to respond to), this happened.
Him: "don't come back into my restaurant unless you want to fight."
Me: "I've been going there for years. why don't you just ignore me next time i come in, and i'll forget your fake threats"
Him: "if i see you again i'll kill you"

I've been back twice already ... he avoided my gaze.
I'm not claiming to be a bad ass ... but I'm 6'2", 220lb and not a slob. He's 6'4", 185lb and has a bad arm from birth ... I'd snap him in half.
I would only be worried if he pulled a gun, or maybe a knife on me, and I'm not too worried about that inside the restaurant.
But yes, yes the BBQ is pretty awesome. | | |
