Focusing less on renewable energies will also let someone else (likely China) take pole position on development and vision. Therefore the profits will go there.

Coal will never be back. I dont even understand why someone would want it back? I suppose some people still view it as a "good job" as it used to pay well 40 years ago... Uneducated jobs like that wont ever pay so well again and you will die of black lung before 50!

We're missing the hard hitting question here. What we need to know is whether she's a cunning linguist.

I think the US will always be the leading figure militarily in terms of the world, but future technology is probably still gonna be developed in China/Europe for the most part and nothing I've seen seems to indicate otherwise.
