Anyone interested in reading over my MA dissertation at some point next week?
It's looking at the Internet regulation debate through the lens of online terrorism/radicalization/recruitment in the United States. Particularly focused on ISIS's use of social media and how the public and private sectors can work together to cut back on terrorist use of the Internet whilst maintaining Internet freedoms.
LET ME KNOW. The more eyes, the better. It's going to be pretty long, but it's actually a really interesting topic. I'll be super grateful!

If I have time, I'll take a look. I spent time studying counter-terrorism when I did undergrad (back when i was looking to become a CIA analyst).

Even a skim would be welcome, or if you look at the table of contents and are drawn to a particular section, that works too. It won't be a quick read on the whole. | "All this from a slice of gabagool?" |

I didn't even want to read my own dissertation, so I think I'll pass. Best of luck on it though. | |

The nicest and most unexpected thing just happened to me!
So there's this cashier at my local Waitrose who I have a nice rapport with. He's like a middle-aged man of African descent with a really thick South East London accent. I'm always listening to music when I go grocery shopping, and whenever I check out he always asks me what's on the playlist. The first time he asked me, I think he expected me to say "Taylor Swift," because I'm a young white girl, but instead I said "Stevie Wonder" and he got really excited and that's when it all started.
ANYWAY I popped in to buy a few groceries and makings for Pimm's cup cause I have friends coming over tomorrow--bought stuff to make dinner tomorrow night and dinner for tonight-- probably around £20 ($25).
I get to the register and he asks me how my day is going. Then he starts REDUCING ALL OF MY GROCERIES. Not even giving me half off of everything. He gave me £2 strawberries for like 50p. It was insane.
My overall total:
I said, "Wow! You didn't have to do this. This is so nice of you. I really appreciate this."
And he replied, "Just make sure you do something nice for another person now, ok?" (I swear this dude is like an earth angel or something. )
Then I went home an ordered pizza. What a nice day.
