Fortunately, there are no late fees at the moment and this scumbag debt company is slightly nice enough to have a 5 month payment plan option. This is gonna cut into my impulsive shopping budget though. |
Make sure insurance is involved. I had a similar problem where the hospital had my wrong address and thus wrong insurance until the debt collectors finally found me and I was like "I never got the notice and it is your fault" and they had to jump through hoops to handle.
Also, it will make sure that you get any reduction in price that would have come with insurance *even* if you don't get insurance to pay for it. |
Yeah it turns out the insurance stuff already got filed by the EMS people and it covered what little it would out of the ambulance fees, but I'm not sure there's anything I could do for insurance I haven't had for over 2 years. | |

OK, since they already pulled that out; if they hadn't, then your old insurance would still be liable, even though it has been two years, since the filing with them didn't happen properly. I live in London, UK so the swimming is on quite late! Didn't get to see a lot of it last night.

Since we are on the subject of bad commentary, a local Rugby League commentator recently remarked that one player had put on a few pounds in recent months, and theorized that he must have eaten a few of his relations.
The player he was talking about is from Papua New Guinea, or one of those other islands where they just loved to eat people back in the day. I was just like "dude, do you want to be fired?"

During the France vs. Italy men's water polo match today, the commentator didn't even have the rosters memorized, so when this badass Italian guy (who was wearing a face guard) scored a wicked goal from outside the 5, the guy was just like "AND THE, UH... MASK MAN SCORES!"
