Scum Gift Swapper is a decent role if it is one action from a list of many (think Mafia JOAT). Personally, I see more usefulness out of the Mafia Gift Swapper as part of a scum JOAT role than I do out of the Town version, therefore, I lean scum on Herm's claim.

Ah alright. I guess idk enough about the role really. I was just thinking it was a meh townie role.

I got no problem with gimmicky vanillas. I normally have at least one sleepwalker in any game I run. But there are entirely too many random things about that role/action that make it even slightly beneficial to the town.

So, either that role was Ahoda's doing, or Christian has really started branching out in the role design department if Herm is actually town.

I'm not caught up yet but I sure hope cody hasn't milked too much info out of mittens. It's not necessary. We know gmaj didn't survive an attack. He told us and is now a confirmed truth teller. We knew redirection was involved without making mittens give us his info

I’m just trying to comprehend the purpose behind the role. If you didn’t know the contents, and it was pretty much random to begin with...why do something that confuses town and not fess up to it from the get go?

Hmm you may be right but I can just as easily see Christian throwing in some day1 chaos .
