Thoughts on other songs:

Bring Me Down isn't bad actually. I don't like the 'oh-oh-oh-oh-ah-woo-woahs" in the chorus.

Sway - maybe I was in a different mood the first time, but I didn't really like it originally. But today, I enjoyed it. Depends on the day I guess. But there's nothing really memorable about it.

I know Steely Dan is one of those classic bands, but I don't like this. :P

I think I actually heard the Beyonce song before. Of course she sings it brilliantly, but I like the other dude's version too, maybe better even. Don't tell Beyonce.

Luke McMaster isn't someone I'd normally listen to, but I saw him live once when he opened for a different artist. And I was pleasantly surprised. I added 3 of his songs to my playlists after that. lol This song gets stuck in my head.

I really like The Trouble I've Been Looking For. Automatic first vote as I said previously. The one noise can get a little annoying but it doesn't seem to take anything away from the song. I mean, maybe that's why it's good, who knows?

A New Error is not terrible. It's not something I'd put on when I want to listen to music, or to sing along to something. Unless I made up my own words. I could hear this kind of music as like a background soundtrack of a video game or an advertisement for a super fancy futuristic car.

I haven't reached Angel in Blue yet during any of my listen throughs.
I start with that song next time.

I think since the beginning of this, Lamps is the only one that semi-consistently hits for me. And I never remember 95% of who nominated what so it's usually a blind vote

1. Armin - The Bones "Bring Me Down"
Sure, pretty good. Feels like a scene in a movie where someone decided "you know what, I do love that girl!" and then they run after her. Generally feel good... 7.2/10

2. Lamps - The Perishers "Sway"
This is nice, also feel good. I'm into it. Kinda similar vibes to the above song actually. 6.7/10

3. Mal - Steely Dan "Peg"
Oh wow (reading ahead before listen lol) dam Steely Dan OK I'm excited to hear this one.... OH FUCK YEAH. I'm so into this right off the bat. Smoooooth disco jazz vibes. Well I just went and added this to my "Jammin" playlist right as the guitar solo hit. I will be surprised if this isn't one of the 3 songs I vote for. 9.3/10

4. Maddie - Beyoncé “Smash Into You”
This is really nice. Wow. This playlist is tough now to pick..... 8.9/10

5. Christian - Luke McMaster "Punch Drunk Love"
excellent!!! 8.1/10

6. GMaj - The Magnetic Fields "The Trouble I’ve Been Looking For"
absolutely terrible 1/10

7. Merc - Moderat "A New Error"
I'm definitely into this, I zoned out and basically forgot it was even playing haha. HMMM... 8.2/10

Enjoyed it for sure. Not sure I'd listen to this often though. But good listen. 7/10

9. Spin - Evanescence "Use My Voice"
Meh. 4.5/10

This is nice. Feel like I'm in a dive bar and I'm into that. 6.6/10

Dang it. I wrote my choices on a sticky note at work, and I won’t be back until Monday.

This is a good list. There are none that I can just cross out. I’m having to listen many times and go with my fav rather than my normal process of elimination.

May not have time to go through this 3x like I tend to do. Based on my first time:

Bring Me Down - really liking it
Peg - alright
Smash Into You - not my cup of tea, but really not a bad song
Punch Drunk Love - not bad, bit boring I guess
The Trouble I've Been Looking For - decent
A New Error - doesn't really go anywhere, but it's alright
Danny Boy - ok
Use My Voice - never really liked this band, but this song is alright
The Divided Sky - perfect "hold" music, now pick up that phone plz...

Nah I'm sure it's not. I loved the Chemical Romance one and have rated others as good/decent before too IIRC?
