I recently beat 999: 9 Hours, 9 People, 9 Doors for the DS and it might be one of the best handheld games I think I have played story-wise.

max payne 3 is suffering from R* update shabangabangs. it made multiplayer pretty much unplayable for like 75 % of players...gonna be fixed soon, but for now i decided to play l.a. noire again.

only this time i have a valid social club account so i started fresh over and now i get accomplishment and status updates and what not, and i got the chicago lightning outfit. cool stuff.

this gotta be my 5th or 6th walkthough of the game. it still looks amazing, that detective noire style....so damn on point. the cutscenes are brilliant. all those philistines who said it had basically NO replay value....well, fuck 'em (:

made in germany (:

not a huge fan of crysis tbh....digging the technique and (expensive) innovation bhind it certainly, but in terms of gameplay far cry 1 is unbeatable. it's their best game to this day imo.

Get some CS:Source with it while you're at it. Merc is too big a schmock to face me in gunbattle :merc:

lol ...i don't remember posting that really....but look how satirically genius i used merc doing the facepalm as an optical metaphor. i lol'd when i saw that just now (:

Crysis 1 and 2 are pretty good games id say! They really upped the stakes in 2 and its a lot harder then the moderately easy 1

Crysis was a very pretty game with a decent twist on the FPS genre, but not much else.

One game I have been playing recently is Lego Racers.

A game which took me weeks to complete when I was young takes me half an hour now!

And I remember been stuck on the last level for ages, often to the point of anger. Beat it first time when I replayed recently. It was :(

Anyone else gone back to games from their childhood and realised how easy they actually are?

max payne 3 is back, bitches. R* patched it up again just in time for the weekend. i didnt play it for a whole week because of the connection isses and work.
today i jumped right into it again and played for 3 hours straight...and i didnt get up once...lol...ranked up from 25 to 29 and i'm halfway to 30 almost. so many crazy shoot-outs. i melee people a lot aswell. sometimes when i get into a frenzy i just keep running and dodging forward and i melee evrything that gets too close to me and continue to run and shoot...getting x6, x7 streak kills...that adrenaline rush....you don't get it in any other third person shooter. i've played a lot really, i think. but that game is one of a kind. nothing like it.

jefferson you should maybe consider looking into it this weekend. R* is hosting a double xp event.

I got restless one day and bought a Wii. Grabbed Smash Bros. Brawl, No More Heroes, Animal Crossing, Punch Out, and Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny. It came with New Super Mario Bros. (I promptly died to the first Goomba). I am TERRIBLE at Brawl and barely punched my way through the story mode. If I get knocked farther than three inches away from either side of the stage platform, it's over Johnny.

I've played a little bit of everything except Rune Factory. I enjoy the motion controls for No More Heroes, even if it's pretty ugly and the camera stinks on ice.

I've been trying to find...Fishing Resort. Because...don't judge me. Going to order it from Amazon once Monster Hunter Tri shows up on my porch.

dude, i think one of the best games i've played on the wii, is scarface: the world is yours. just look at that awesome trailer.

the game picks up where the movie ended....only tony survived and he's back with a vengeance. the gameplay has some GTA vibe to it. driving, shooting, doing missions. gameplay was alright for the wii i guess. you can shake that nun-chuk thing with one hand while shooting guys with the controller that looks like a remote, then tony starts to rant while shoooting. there's a meter/bar that fills up when you rant and you can go into blind rage when it's filled up. the screen turns a little red then and you just fire away, i think you have unlimited ammo in that mode...i thought it was a pretty cool game. certainly a welcome change to all those golfing, tennis etc. sports game everyone was playing.

This is me with Mario 64. I remember it being a huge deal among my social circle to see who could get all 120 stars first. Now I think I could probably do it under a day if I did nothing else.

Same thing goes with the Megaman X series. Fiendishly difficult as a kid, now I can trample the entire game series with minimal difficulty.
