You can mark and group posts with highlight color tags. Then look at the whole group at once. It's a pretty neat feature.

I haven't done the championship, but have played some games over there. People spend a ridiculous amount of time on a game. They'll look up your posts in past games, break down every word of every post, etc... They are just way more into it than I have time to be.

I've played there in the past and their site is set up for mafia. From what I remember though the games take a while, with day phases going for a prolonged period of time, which I didn't care for.

Yes, basically! And WIFOM, etc. I think it would be cool to have a "role guide" as well, even though I know people here get very creative and not every host is the same - that's actually what I like about Mafia on FE. I tried playing on one of those mafia factory sites before and it was just sooo mundane. They were sooo picky about everything you did and said and if you didn't know how something worked you must be scum, etc. Sounds kinda like what Primate just described above - I'm hoping I don't want to kill myself in that game lol.

Yeah that’s what epicmafia was like to me. It was less intuition and more like...mathematical, it’s kinda boring like that imo. Creativity is KEY!

I’m down to work together on a little mafia guide to help newbies. Hosts can link to that thread in their rules if they’d like

It's almost like you need to do a wiki of mafia.

Yeah- I like when I have to figure out the structure of the game and how roles may or may not be adapted. We've had a ton of creative games here where just trying to figure out the mechanics is a fun part of the game (or, if scum, trying to hide your knowledge of scum mechanics).

I was gonna say (and I dunno if this is sarcasm or not), but we actually had all of this info on an FE mafia wiki that we started for fun. Basic rules/roles/acronyms and then pages for all our games. But we stopped updating it somewhere along the way

I was being sarcastically honest.

I cut and pasted the GLB mafia guide to the Hollywood site. That has a ton of good info that could be fairly easily converted to a glossary or guide of sorts.
