I've wanted to get Mansions of Madness for awhile, but just haven't done it.
I have three or four editions of the Call of Cthulhu RPG and got all the goodies from Petersen's Cthulhu Wars kickstarter.

Those look amazing. I am jealous!
Mansions of Madness is brilliant. Had so many great games of it. |
It's pretty fun- basically all the mythos battling against each other by trying to get acolytes and priests to get enough power to raise minions and ultimately bring in a Great Old One or Elder God. You can pick up the game and expansions still post-Kickstarter: oouir big bonus (other than getting it cheaper than retail) was each of the monster/minion pieces were done in a maroon for display purposes only. Doesn't include the Great Old Ones or Elder Gods, but gets all the way up to Starspawn and Dark Young.

Arkham Horror card game yes
We have so many board games, but not much time to play them. |
yeah- this is my chief problem. That and I love complexity while my wife likes simpler games. So stuff like Pandemic or Zombies!!! are awesome since they are pretty simple up front.

Don't remember what other board games I liked the most when I played them more...

That you do. That's also why I have the old Janes and the Combat Fleets books.

Board games are awesome! I have a bunch of them, but no longer a game group to play them with. Most of my best ones need 3+ people, but until my daughter is old enough to understand how to play, they sit on my bookshelf collecting dust. Here are a few "awards" from my collection:
Best game: Twilight struggle
Most played game: Dominion (plus it's many expansions)
Most likely to be played over the holidays: Ticket to Ride (and expansions)
Biggest game: Railroad Tycoon
Game with the most pieces: Galaxy Trucker
Best vintage game: Solarquest (original 1980s copy)
Best games to not be listed above: Power Grid, Puerto Rico, Seismic, Gheos, Risk, Settlers of Catan, probably some more I can't see from this angle.

Some games I usually play when I go back home are
Bounce Off (fun new recent game I picked up)
Apples to Apples/CAH
Catan expansions (Cities & Knights is the best if I have 2 hrs to devote to a game)

I played Mountains of Madness yesterday and it was so much fun! It was quite different, because it had the complexity and feel of a serious coop board game, but it forced people to ACTUALLY go insane while playing the game. We were lucky with our madness cards so that made it a bit easy, though.

Yeah- it has been on my list for awhile but I never pull the trigger. But that concept is why I worked sanity in my Lovecraft Shadow Over Kingsport game. | How can you have any pudding if you won't eat your meat? |

Or the classic 221B Baker Street. We play that a lot too, especially since I bought all the expansion cases.

tried out Cash 'n Guns, really enjoyed it. Shit can get pretty tense down the stretch. And the gun props instantly make it more fun
