I have an assignment due at 11:59pm tonight. Going to half-ass it as quickly as possible while watching Amazing Race and then dive into a good long Fallout session.

I walked up on a raider camp that had a boomer, a legendary raider, and a few other regular raiders. I ended up twitching it for a few of my friends, trying to sneak up on the camp.
It did not end well. It took about 5 attempts before I found a good cliff area to pelt them with grenades and my laser rifle. The area was at the perfect angle where the boomer's mini nukes would whiz right by my head but not land near me.

I'm really not looking forward to Dogmeat's scripted death. I can smell it since he's invincible in combat. | nav is ugly and i am pretty |

Yeah, it's almost a guarantee. I wish the dog was like the skyrim companions. I accidentally killed Lydia in one of our first battles together and it was a wakeup call to consider how erratic I was with my fighting. There's just no sense of danger when entering battle when you know you'll just have to give up a stimpack to get the dog moving again.

You don't even need to do that, they'll just resurrect after the battle by themselves. I totally agree though, I'm actually thinking about going solo for the rest of the game so there's a better sense of peril

I spent the whole afternoon playing. I couldn't stop, but obviously eventually I did. I spent a lot of time building up settlements though, which is more fun than I thought it'd be! I finally visited Concord, but am now avoiding Diamond City for fear of advancing the storyline. lol

I take sooo long to explore every area and I make a lot of trips back to Sanctuary to drop things off into my benches. I'm only level 10 right now lol. #slowpoke

The game is definitely growing on me a little bit. This settlement development shit is pretty good.
Very smart move of them to make every piece of junk worth something in scrap.

12 hours in and I haven't even considered going to Diamond City. I've started my Sanctuary construction and concentrating on the minutemen / raider clearing activities throughout the land.
