The fact that none of the power roles got taken out seems to suggest that mafia's kill was stopped somehow.

If we keep seeing only one death every night, im317 has to be lying, but for now it's I'm gonna assume he has to be town.

1. I believe Buffy absent a counter because it seems there are 2 RBs. If more evidence presents itself that the other blocker is not actually a blocker or something, I'll revise this opinion.

2. I do not believe rose and nobert just because they say they are. We've jumped right past Occam's Razor on that one.

3. I and more inclined to believe im317's vig claim than not, simply because he didn't have to claim anything at all when he did...

4. Lynching brian is a bad idea, especially since he said he was given a piece of coal - maybe that does cure him from his poisoning.

5. It is possible the mafia's flavor of kill this past day was poisoning brian.

6. Even with that possibility, I'm not going to start creating phantom roles to explain things when Buffy says she blocked Ari and Ari says his action went through. It's more likely than not that one of them is lying.

I have the day off work today, so I'm able to post more. Obviously this is a bad thing. Maybe I'll take a queue from Schrauben and Redster, and just go missing for 3-4 days.

This doesnt seem to be going anywhere productive. Id rather skip having a clusterfuck at the end of the day like we always do...

I am a firefighter. I can visit a player every night and check if their house has been doused with gasoline AND this also protects them from being doused that night. If they have I will clean it up, else nothing happens.

All of my targets have been clean so far. I dont want to reveal my targets as I feel like that will make it more likely they will be targeted!

Herm's indecisiveness has been annoying me for some time now. Hasnt really come down strong on anyone as far as I can remember, classic scum move.

All of these inactives bother me as well, I am getting the feeling that mafia are just sitting back today...

I know we aren't supposed to read into flavor too much, but these are too similar to avoid.

N1: Badger killed by elaborate device in an old factory (conveyor belt into oven) - very likely killed by Angi (mafia), since she blew up when he died.
N2: Ahoda killed in old factory (smashed in pasta machine)
N3: Chris killed in ________ (boiled in oil)

It looks like the flavor (style) of the kill is dependent on who is being killed, while the description of the location is similar for all three (no direct statement of location of N3, but where else would you keep a pot of boiling oil?).

With these all reading pretty similar, why are we giving im317 the benefit of the doubt for Ahoda, but not questioning him at all about the one on N3? The locations are similar enough that I could buy it was the flavor associated with the mafia kill.

what do you want me to say...if I could I would vote at least 5 people today...not in shape though and too lazy to write paragraphs and shit, also nobody really votes ands gets things going. I'd end up switching from train to train because no consent is made and I'd look super scummy by the end of the day...

I could buy that there is a third party who primes people, given that the only killing roles we know of so far are the standard mafia kill and if we believe im317's claim, vigilante attacks.

If there is a third party they aren't your usual SK type role. But they could just as easily be a Cult Leader. There might not even be a third party (though I can't remember the last game I played without one).

Does anybody know of a character from Batman 66 who fits an arsonist type role?

claiming was, is, and will always be for the fuckin birds! ...now that was some metaphorical atombomb.

So we have 2 more claims (Brian - doc, ari - firefighter) that at this point we have to take a face value. If Brian is poisoned and will die at the end of the day, then it does make sense to lynch him over taking a shot on someone. The upside is that it removes the risk of losing 2 townies. The downside is we gain no information from that lynch. With all of these role claims, and no counters or evidence disputing them, it would make sense if there is a town bus driver that has screwed up mafia's plans. Or there could just be a lot of bullshit out there. Did Rose and Nobert make up the twins claim to save her by scaring town with the thought of losing 2 townies? Did JC lie about being silenced since we haven't seen another player silenced, unless Christian changed the role so that they can't even post? Or have mafia simply silenced inactive people hoping to discredit JC? Is im317 really town vig, or is that just his cover for being the mafia killer? Maybe mafia intentionally no killed the last 2 nights to fuck with us and get us to take out im317. Fuck a person could go crazy with all of these what ifs. For right now, I think we might as well take a shot at an inactive.

That's a surprise, I was about to say JC seems shady as fuck for trying to cast doubt on basically everybody who has claimed.

That said, I actually think the idea the mafia intentionally didn't kill on at least one of the last two nights is worth considering.

It might sound dumb on paper, but the confusion it has the potential to cause is sometimes worth it.
