The other E-Corp dude is so hate able and watchable too, the one who burned the money last week (my favorite scene last week) |
ya I didn't comment on that but that was absolutely great. The Phil Collins song choice really made that scene

yeah...that was pretty much my main thought after this ep. Like I still am enjoying it, but unlike S1 which had a very clear goal/destination from the beginning, this season seems kinda all over the place right now. I have enough faith in the writers to think it's all building up to something good (I mean there's still 8 episodes left) but for now it seems like it's stalling a bit

Man, I know I probably sound like a salty fuck but what the fuck.
They could have combined every previous episode and this episode for a 2 part premiere.
This is such a bullshit formula that shows follow, like 50 minutes of fluff and like 10 minutes of intense shit/cliffhanger
|
I feel like it was pretty obvious that that black dude was running something sketchy when he told him not to look. I'll admit, the shootout scene actually was really good and I didn't see that coming at all, |
but it's still kinda inexcusable how they really wasted my time for probably 4 hours this season?
Kinda insane how the first season was so good, intense, and just had perfect pacing and then it turned into this...am I the only one that didn't like this season? | Winner of 11 Courses of Thanksgiving

god, that shooting at the end was like, genuinely disturbing. It felt so realistic
I liked the Dom storyline the most this week, partly just to see more of White Rose. Definitely one of the more interesting characters. Joanna's scenes were pretty good too, though I'm still impatiently waiting for Tyrell to show up. I'm fairly confident after the season is over it'll make these early episodes much better in hindsight, but now it's a bit frustrating. It almost feels like it's being built for binge-watching
The Elliott stuff is still a bit frustrating too. Even if the (possible) twist wasn't spoiled for me, I feel like I'd still be getting impatient with this |
It feels more and more clear that Elliott's in prison each week, to the point where I have no idea why they're dragging out the reveal so much. Besides just showing each scene in a slightly different light, I don't really know what the POINT of having the twist even would be at this point besides just for a shocking moment to try to match the Mr. Robot reveal
I guess it's still slightly possible that there is no prison twist, but if there isn't, Elliott's scenes have just been inexplicably weird/disjointed this season so I still feel like it's gotta be the case |

Yea, I enjoy seeing more of White Rose, def one of the more interesting characters.
I was kinda thinking something would happen with Dom for her to like snap and start being really into the investigation, she seemed kinda jaded up until this point | Winner of 11 Courses of Thanksgiving

I agree, it's definitely moving at a glacial pace compared to S1 as well as feeling a lot more convoluted. But I feel like the jury's still out for me until I see the whole thing
I still think the S2 premiere was gr8, but everything after that has just felt like more and more slow build-up. Might pay off to something good later, but for now it's not the most interesting to watch episodically

The women characters are kicking ass this season. Definitely thought last night's episode was the best of the season so far.
I agree it's been a really slow burn so far, but hopefully last night's ep was the start of an identifiable plot. | "All this from a slice of gabagool?" |

Jesus this Elliott plot continues to drag endlessly. Though the sitcom thing at the beginning was pretty fun at least. I appreciated how much they committed to it rather than just making it a 5 minute thing
Angela plot was pretty good. Curious to see where they go with that with Dom in the mix now |

best comment about that ending:
"Next ep:
"Elliot, that's the worst name for a store I've ever heard. I'm just gonna call it Mr Robot.""
