HOLY HELL that ending. This finale's gonna be amazing. That trailer was so creepy other than the ending (and beginning) though, I thought this was probably the weakest episode. I still enjoyed it but it felt like it was lacking something. One thing that disappointed me was the LACK of butterfly effect. Like they show that everything ends up completely different when Chloe's dad lives, which makes sense, but everything going back to EXACTLY the way it was before when I let him die again doesn't make sense, because I WAS still changing things. Like Max grabbing Chloe by the shoulders and telling her to stay strong right before her dad dies would have huge ramifications on Chloe's mental trajectory after that day. It's called the butterfly effect for a reason, because it doesn't take a huge event to change anything, all it takes is something extremely small to ripple out. idk that just bothered me for a game that makes so many references to that concept PLUS it felt kinda selfish in a way for Max to send Chloe's dad to die again. It'd save Chloe sure, and Rachel still is missing/the world's still ending no matter what, but what else would that change? Nathan seemed pretty friendly in the brief time we were in the other timeline. It probably was a front, but it's not like we had enough time to say for sure. It's possible that they address this in the next episode since Chloe ends up dying anyway, meaning we ultimately traded her dad's life for her for nothing major choices: - Refused Chloe's request. THE MAJORITY DID IT? I considered it, but c'mon. I thought there'd be a way to save her - Let Warren beat up Nathan. Surprised I was in the minority here as well. I'm guessing people just feared Nathan's retaliation? - Chloe wounded Frank. After the dog and Frank died the first time around I was willing to accept this as an acceptable outcome (: - Victoria believed my story. Those insult options were so tempting tho minor choices: - I let the blue jay die I guess? - Didn't disturb the bird's nest. I did take a picture of it, didn't realize there's more you could do (not that I would've) - Got David's files another way. Just broke it open with a crowbar - Kate didn't help me find Nathan's room. I WONDER WHY!! - Didn't motivate Daniel to attend Vortex Club party. Who's Daniel? - Didn't leave a message on Warren's slate. Didn't realize I could, but probably wouldn't have cuz he annoys me - Didn't figure out Nathan's PIN code - Didn't help Alyssa. FUCK THAT BITCH!

First of all, choices... MAJOR - I killed Chloe in the alternate timeline. I knew we were probably going back soon once I saw us going through the photobook, so I stood by Chloe to end her suffering in her final moments. Hard decision for sure and it was incredibly sad to watch. But I figured it wouldn't REALLY matter in the end. - I let Warren beat up Nathan. So fun to watch. I fear for Warren's life in the next episode but it was worth watching that. - Chloe killed Frank (And the dog :( )... hm. I didn't think there was a choice here or anything I could do. It just... happened. I regret this. - I warned Victoria and she believed me. I was kind of tempted not to in order to lure Nathan but meh. MINOR - I saved the blue jay... once again, I feel like the blue jay is incredibly important for some stupid reason. Blue's an important color! Blue butterfly, Chloe's blue hair, blue jay... SOMETHING BIG IS HAPPENING, DAMMIT! I've been calling it since Episode 1, the blue jay will the savior of this whole thing. - I disturbed the nest in order to take the picture. I REALLY REGRET THIS! God, I thought the plank would just fall and hit someone or something dumb like that. When Joyce showed me the picture of the broken eggs I was so sad. - I just broke the padlock with a crowbar for David's locker... Max was saying she didn't have time to investigate so I didn't even bother looking for a code. - Kate helped me find Nathan's room. - Didn't motivate Daniel to attend the party... I didn't even notice him in this episode. Boc, Daniel is the fat kid with the thick Mexican accent. He drew a picture of Max in the first episode. - Left a message on Warren's slate cause why not. - Didn't figure out Nathan's PIN. - Helped Alyssa. Meh. Been inconsistent with it so I guess it doesn't matter but I saw the opportunity so I did it. Awesome episode. I liked all the puzzle solving in this episode, I found the big investigation board really fun to solve. I do agree that it was annoying that nothing really changed from killing William again but it's crazy to see everything else starting to come together here. Episode started so nice too with that really touching scene with alternate Chloe and that really nice segment in the hospital with Kate. (Boc -- what happened in your game here? Right after I got back to present time and broke into David's locker, we went to the hospital to visit Kate.) Then of course... SADNESS EVERYWHERE. Frank and the dog dying was horrible... he was a bad guy but I really don't think he deserved to die. Finding the truth about Rachel Amber.... possibly inevitable but the game kept giving you hope that you would eventually find her and it's really gutwrenching to learn she was dead all this time. Chloe dying... fuck. Last thing I ever expected to happen. I definitively saw Chloe dying in the finale, but not here. AND IT WAS JEFFERSON ALL THE LONG! I was actually saying to myself that I thought for sure Jefferson was going to get killed somehow before announcing the winner of the Everyday Heroes contest.. then that happens. So pumped for the finale.

Purchased the first episode to see if it would run okay on my computer; wound up playing through the whole episode. i think it's safe to say that it runs okay and that I'm definitely buying the season pass.

-didn't kill chloe. -i let him beat up nathan (mostly because we ended up with his gun. if i stopped warren, nathan got the gun) -no one got hurt with frank! frank actually likes chloe and max now, y'all fucked up. in my storyline the dog wasn't there but isn't dead! in nathan's room i did find a picture of a dead/injured dog though with his other creepy photos, was wondering if it was the same dog. -victoria believed me -let the blue jay die. i think it's been dead since episode 1 because i don't remember this being an option -didn't disturb the nest (and didn't notice it) -found david's code! i went through my files and there was a picture from episode 2 or 3 when you're searching for passwords and it's of the padlock opened with the code 7171 (or 1717, don't remember at this point) -kate helped me find nathan's room but i can't imagine it would be that hard considering the sign on the door -motivated daniel to attend the party and this was actually the hardest one for me. i was worried he would get humiliated if i persuaded him to attend but so far all he did was flirt with the drone girl, so i was relieved -didn't leave a message for warren, didn't notice it. -didn't figure out the PIN because the longer code took a shorter time to find -helped alyssa because why not.
