It's defining when you don't make two siblings related anymore. I don't see the huge social justice warrior issue though
I'd me much more content if they went with one was born black and another white but they are going with the adoption route |
I don't think an adopted sibling has to be any less of sibling than someone who is your blood relative... unless she was Just now adopted or something silly like that. Growing up in close quarters with someone for all your life can be pretty impactful on a person and bonds are indeed formed.

It's all circumstantial. We don't know when the adoption took place or how it felt, everything is situational.
You are so fucking irritating
Take your social justice warrior bullshit back to the feminazi thread.
There is no race issue and there is no ANTI adoption issue. Stop looking for an argument because it doesn't exist on my end. I'd be just as unhappy with the casting if they cast Kevin Smith or Michael Cena as the Human Torch. It doesn't have to do with his skin. It does have to do with them altering the relationships making them no longer biological brother and sister. I'm still probably going to watch it but I am allowed to say I am unhappy they didn't stay loyal to the facts as a fan without getting slandered for it.

You just said it was situational and we don't know all the facts about the adoption. That was my point really. So I was just wondering why you were getting upset about a relationship being change when for all we know it could have not really changed at all... they could have lived together their whole life as babies for all we know.
The race discussion wasn't directed at you or even mentioned at you so sorry if you felt the need to defend yourself on that front.

You said "what are you, anti adoption NOW?" Now implying I also had a problem with race.
All we know is that they said Sue was adopted. That is change enough. I can voice I don't like that they changed that from following the comics. I'll still likely see the movie.

If you are still going to go see the movie what is the point of you bitching this whole thread?
Just shut the fuck up and either watch the movie or don't.
We don't need your racist anti-adoption opinions spewed about.

I'm not going to see it. I'll see it when it's free. I also haven't been bitching about the movie I've been bitching at the reception social justice warriors are reacting to
