There should just be a fucking pool of people, a list of available players, that just shift from one game to the next. There can still be sign ups for people who don't frequent the place often and only show up to brown nose their buddies when they are hosting one but it would be nice to already have a set number of people already locked in when you post the initial sign up sheet.

That game was conceived in the span of a couple Skype chats. Merc wanted Alco to host it so he could look good to the IMDB people and also get some more cred on KMB for boosting activity when they were kind of pissed at us at the time. It's like if Hitler ran the olympics with Hugh Jackman as his co-host. Who would reject Hugh?

And all of a sudden I was left to run like 99% of what was supposed to be a three man game with me as a glorified assistant while the actual host (Merc) vanished on Day 1 and the other co-host was often busy and not around as much as I'd have liked.

Outside of you getting screwed over a bit (fun fact: the co-host actually got Mykee to help him win another game they were in so I suspect he worked it so Mykee could win THG, not sure but there's a conspiracy theory for you) you had the win in your hands in the climactic showdown and simply chose not to win.

The random.org stuff was not rigged, at least not on my part. I can't say if Alco ever fudged with anything but I don't believe he did. Did we rely on it a lot for some challenges (it was actually very few and for the most part was only effected by inactives)? Sure, but hey, we're currently playing a COMPLETELY RANDOMIZED BIG BROTHER GAME. And Player's had PLENTY of control over things, in fact if you simply showed up for the challenges and completed the challenges it was your game to lose.

I have ideas for a way better Hunger Games 2 that's more RPG-like but there's no way I'm going to run a game like that again where I'm supposed to be part of a team and wind up running the show. And I don't want to run it alone either.

It's nice to think you still ruminate on your loss though.

If anything I deserve a fucking medal for sticking with THG til the end. Anyone else would have skipped town the second Merc did. I finish what I start, even if it seems hopeless.
