I have a drum kit but I am shit. I keep trying to play John Bonham's drum intro on when the levee breaks but its too hard.

What kind of stuff do you pay Bryce?

I too am curious about what Bryce plays. I had a drum set for about six months before I wound up selling it to a friend of mine that is actually a drummer. I always cursed myself for doing so until my basement flooded and I realized had it still been down there (and it would have been) it would have been ruined. I didn't have it long enough to get very good but it's the instrument I'm most interested in.

I've also got some guy's shitty bass. A guy owed me some money and couldn't pay so he threw his Warlock bass me. I like Warlocks but he had repainted this one and it looks terrible. It's also missing the pickups. I've been meaning to look into how much it would cost to get it fixed up as since he gave it to me it has just sat around in a closet.

Well I'm part of a church so I play worship covers mostly.

But not like hymns and stuff, but rock style.

Rock is probably the closest genre. Someone had me play to a bluegrass song and a jazz song and I felt so out of my element, but the jazz song was more free and interpretive. I had fun with that one, it just isn't the style I normally play.

Aside from that there's a few songs I've listened to that I've been working on covers for or been practicing to consistently:

Little Lion Man- Tonight Alive cover
Tic Tok- Ke$ha (pulled this one off some other guy but I got his cover down pretty solidly)
The Kill/Kings and Queens- 30 Seconds to Mars
Red Hands- The Dear Hunter
Ants Marching- Dave Matthews Band

I also just play random stuff from time to time when I come across something on my iPod that I think sounds cool and I want to learn. I just take some time to release whatever I'm feeling and just hit it. It's kind of what I go to to release frustration.

If at any point I can get good sound quality enough, I may post a video of a cover like you can see on youtube. But I don't really know how and also It'd be weird haha

Not that I think I'm bad, but it's just....awkward! =P
