Loved the premiere.

I firstly loved the new intro. The upbeat nature of it is creepy in a fake utopia kinda sense. Having that intro followed by the opening origin sequence was also pretty unsettling.
I don't think the present-day story will ever really relate to the cave one, but I think they're just trying to highlight parallels. There are parallels with adopting a child that's not yours (Nora) or it could be an alt-allegory to Eve (the missing daughter's name is Evie).
Love the new villain, the sheep scene was so wtf. Guess animals can't die outside? |

That was one of the strangest hours of television I've ever watched. It was bizarre moment after bizarre moment but I enjoyed it so much

Last night's ep was really astounding. I didn't really give a shit about Tom very much, but the speech at the end was cool. I guess we're supposed to assume:
|
That it's made up, and they're creating their own new movement to be a catalyst to the GR. It's a brilliant idea, and I feel like the show is establishing that it's about how faith is designed, created, and executed.
I also like that they're introducing an antagonist that rejects faith. |

I loved it. Not AS weird as episode one which is probably good
Some of the blunt/matter of fact lines were so hilarious:
"Your brother and I buried a body"
"I pay prostitutes to shoot me"
"There's a body in my trunk"
And Patti's "What the fuck was that?"
Thought the episode was ending with Kevin in bed but the scene after was a great twist. Kevin in the lake with the weight around his ankle. So good
Lots of Lindelof's Lost vibes with showing the same scene from two different POV's across multiple episodes and each POV revealing more about that moment. I loved that in Lost and I love it here
gr8 show |

GR8. The ending especially. I agree Justin, I didn't care much for Tommy in season one. I did a complete 180 with him this episode tho, even before the fantastic ending. That doused in gasoline sequence was tense as fuck. And Laurie running the two GR's down was crazy
Two episodes in a row with Where Is My Mind playing. They should play it every episode |

last nights episode was so sad :(
i love that they just answered so many questions in one episode. i cant believe there are only 4 left. its gonna be Garvey vs. Murphey at the end.
I think the girls are definitely not departed. Nora eclipses Matt as my favorite character now. The sheer amount of acting that went through those last 20 minutes was insane.
