lol Tom Hammerschmidt from House of Cards. He's such a goof. I had no idea he was in this
Just watched the part where he tries to raid the stash houses and it's a total joke. I loved the shot of all the officers standing around like schmucks
Jimmy taking a backseat this season is kinda sad :( . He wasn't in this episode at all, that's the second time this season. As far as I know these are the first episodes he hasn't appeared in
yeah Dominic West was busy with stuff that year. Though the show was always very heavy on the ensemble he is still the big protagonist so it's weird for a lot of people. I still think it works well in his absence
Really liked episode 6, when Carcetti wins the race. I've found Carcetti to be very rootable. I loved the scene when he gets the phone call and is with his wife
I can see Randy's story starting to unfold and all of these dots beginning to connect. Randy has to spill about his role in Lex's death. Prez finds out, Prez tells Daniels. It's those moments that kinda make the show for me, when some of the stories start to intertwine and impact each other. I think that's one of the things the show does best by far
Cutty's "Yo, I looove the women!" line to try to be buddies with Michael was hilarious. Clearly something's up with Michael, probably something involving his father. Curious to see what that is
Clay Davis was also hilarious, trying to act like he helped out in any way
There's no one even close to Valchek for me. Especially because Frank was one of my favorites. Though him helping Carcetti later did make me like him a TINY bit more
At least Namond's mom got him those jerseys that one time!! (:
Yeah Valchek's gotta be my least favorite. Though lol...as I'm writing this I think back to Burrell, that piece of shit. I can't think of anything positive he's done
Speaking of which, I liked Rawls jumping ship to Carcetti. I think he had a line about wanting to clean the city up. Seems like he actually does want things to be more effective despite being a dick. Burrell just seems to do everything out of self interest. Agree/disagree???? I can't remember exact details about what they did in seasons 1 and 2 so I may be way off base
Also lol'd at Rawls reading Landsman's porno knowing that he was in that gay bar
Yeah I don't remember anything Burrell did that wasn't purely out of self-interest. But I'd say he was more of a sniveling coward than an audacious asshole like Valchek
This is another instance where it's a shame that I'm spoiled on stuff, mostly character fates. If I didn't know that Herc would be fine, I'd be very nervous for him right now after his run in with Marlo
