Day 1 on the East Orange Trail
I lapped on some zinc oxide loaded up my 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe and hit the road! Beautiful drive east on Interstate 10 (of course I stopped in Joshua Tree for a 3 day mushroom excursion) and briefly crossed through the purchase of Gadsden. God bless our great 14th president Franklin Pierce. Truly one of the all time greats.
First things first here in 'Zona I checked out all the Berto's, Julioberto's, Rodberto's, Rolberto's. Snagged some solid beanancheezers along the way. I HAD to check out my girls Britney Grimer and Diana Taurasi- major egg on my face but the Mercury were playing in Minnesota today! Oh well I hope I can check out my hoop heroes another time along the way.
I ate a place called "Diablo Burger" with some nice Koreans I met in the hostel and we stayed up all night playing Trivial Pursuit. People in the Great American Southwest sure are friendly.
I've heard of BBQ before but I can't wait to find out what ABQ is all about. V out losers!

We're somewhere on Mars. Between Palm Springs and Phoenix. A semi truck driving very closely in front of us had a tire suddenly POP in front of us and he started skidding. We braked quickly and the tire remains flung in our direction through the smoke and dirt. He pulled over to the side of the road safely and we are persevering onwards
