"YOU ARE GUILTY OF STEALING FROM THE KING. THE SENTENCE...IS DEATH."

The words echoed through the town square and down into your cell. The group sprung to action. You knew you needed to find a way to escape as quickly as possible.

Bribing, charming, and attacking the guard all failed. Bending the bars failed. You called up through the window for help, but no on came to your aid. Nothing was working.

You pull a key from your pocket that you had concealed from the guards. You look at the lock to your cell. 'I wonder...'

Click.

The key turns and your cell door slides open. You feel equal parts silly and confused, but you don't question it and sprint through the corridors, grabbing your possessions along the way.

The twenty of you barrel down the dungeon halls, evading or attacking guards as you pass them. You make your way to the door to the prison and burst through it.

The sunlight stings your eyes, causing you to shield it with your hand, paw, hoof, or wing. You squint across the courtyard and spot Murder Bunny in a stockade on a wooden stage. On his right, King Lockhart and the traitorous Akmong Sus. On his right, a burly executioner wielding a double sided executioners axe. An angry mob screams below them.

You push your way through the townsfolk gathered in the courtyard. Guards are quick to respond, tackling each of you one by one and binding you with chains and gags. You try to scream out and point an accusatory finger directly at Akmong, who slinks behind King Lockhart, before you too are pinned and gagged.

The King mocks your accusation.

"I am mean to believe a violent pack of strangers over my most trusted advisor!" he spats out.

King Lockhart is frail. His hair is haggard and white. His beard unruly. His back arched due to age.

"SILENCE! Enough of this, I grow tired." he says as he feeds a cracker to his beloved crow. "I have my bird. Akmong has his reward money. And we have our culprits."

Lockhart takes a step forth, petting his crow and addressing the quieted crowd.

"If they are innocent as they claim, there is but one way to be sure. We will let the Gods decide their fate."

The crowd looks giddy. They had been here before. They knew what came next.

"TO THE FIGHTING PITS."

The crowd is rambunctious once more. Akmong smiles under his mask. The executioner releases the near unconscious Murder Bunny and places him in chains.

The twenty of you are dragged away and hauled towards a large arena. If you were going to prove your innocence, you would have to fight for it.





Main Quest #1: Escape

You are trapped in your cell, but Murder Bunny needs help. What's your plan? Decide as a party.

Your swollen eyes slowly open. Your vision slowly focuses and your hearing starts to come back to you. You are elevated above a large mob of townsfolk who are all looking directly at you.

Your try to move your head, but its frozen in place. Your neck and wrists are raw and bloodied. As you try to pull them free, you realize you are thoroughly locked into a stockade.

You turn your eyes to the side. On your left stands King Lockhart. The weasel Akmong Sus behind him and whispering into his ear. On your left, a large, masked ogre holding a double bladed, bloodstained executioner's axe.

"YOU ARE GUILTY OF STEALING FROM THE THING. THE SENTENCE...IS DEATH."

The words echo through your large, floppy ears. You try to speak out, but your mouth is pooling with blood and you find yourself too woozy to make sense.
