So I'm going to have to fire one of my employees because he's basically called off more than 10 times in the past 3 months including 3 times this week. So I talked to my boss about it and he was like thats fine whatever and then he tells me that there's another girl at a different store they were thinking of letting go because they were having issues with her and kind of asked if I would be interested in trying her out at my store because I'm such an amazing manager that can take piece of shit people and turn them into productive workers somehow. So I ask what her issues are to kind of get a gauge on whether or not she'll be able to work at my store. My boss then explains that this lady has been with the company for a while, knows how to do pretty much everything but just has kind of an attitude problem. So I was asking more about the "attitude" problem and my boss just says. "I don't want you to take this the wrong way.... but shes black" And then didn't say anything else and I was like "uhhh ok" And he's like "you know what, we're just going to let her go" And that was the end of the conversation.

So to piggy back off this story from a couple months ago.

My boss is responsible for managing 9 stores in this market that I'm in. So he has 9 "store managers" one for each store (I am one of them)

So a few months ago we found out that the one store in the ghetto is getting closed down because its in the ghetto and noone ever shops there.

So my boss has 9 store managers. 8 of them are straight white guys (myself included) 1 of the store managers is a black homosexual female.

When the ghetto store closed my boss and his boss came and talked to me and let me know that they were going to be shuffling people around and trying to find spots for everyone so noone would have to lose their jobs when the ghetto store closes.

So I ended up getting moved to a different store which I really didn't give a fuck about and they shuffled a few other people around and GUESS WHAT.

The only store manager that was asked to step down was the black homosexual female.

From what I've been told the reason that they asked her to step down had to do with seniority and she had the least of all of the other store managers by about a week and a half over another guy.

Also, it turns out she had the highest sales numbers of anyone in the market last quarter but now she's just an assistant manager.

they cared enough to close a store that nobody was shopping at, but will demote someone with the highest sales in the last quarter? At least you all still have a job I guess?

Yeah i wasnt worried about that at all, I'm pretty much the best manager they have.

Yeah, they sign my checks and I get raises every 6 months and a quarterly bonus so I dont complain.
