I don't think I ever met her. It's my mom's aunt. I don't do much with that side of the family. She was supposed to visit us back in September 2001 and then things did not go well and she apparently blamed us for letting a terrorist attack get in the way of her northern vacation or something.

Stuff like this happens to me a lot, and nobody else is ever around when it does. I'm doing a crossword puzzle in the newspaper this morning, while I'm watching another episode of The Twilight Zone. I'm literally filling in the answer to the clue 'flying saucers for short' (UFOs), while a character on the screen is saying the words "unidentified flying object" at that exact moment. I'm only half paying attention to the tv, but those words definitely caught my attention.

I think you need to put a damper on your crazy lifestyle before someone gets hurt.

So the new Fios network we have is 5G and the Wii U tragically doesn't pick up that frequency, so I had to connect my router from Florida to give it something to use. The router is still called Lesbian Lounge and I'm keeping it that way.

omg i just had a heart attack i thought i dropped my computer cuz my charging port wasn't working and that happened before when i dropped it and i was like shit im about to be without a computer forever and I need it for so many things, but it turns out this thing wasn't plugged into like the power brick all the way. phew!!

First year I might not be going to Coachella :(

There's a chance I'm going on Saturday if I can get hooked up with a ticket but chances are slim :(

I used to name my routers all kinds of funny thing, but now I just go with Sci Fi stuff. Our main wireless is TARDIS and our camera system is Skynet.

One of our neighbors had a system that was 105 HOTTIES. It was unrestricted, so my FIL (conservative Catholic) hopped on there when he was visiting, making comments about how the girls who own it must be hot. So I spoofed an email to him from Steve@105hotties.com, asking why he was using the wifi and that he should come over personally to hang with him and the other guys. My FIL got really uncomfortable while the wife and I laughed our asses off.

Then I spoofed an email from President Bush (president@whitehouse.gov) thanking him for all the support over the years, etc. etc. At the end, I had it ask "Why aren't you accepting Steve's invitation?"

I wish I had the choice to get Fios. I am trying to get away from the Comcast evil empire and the only other choice I have that I can tell is Frontier for internet, which is horrible. I was considering Direct TV but too many issues with installation. So, someone told me about Chromecast but I don't know if streaming instead of cable is a good idea. How can I watch Survivor in real time, for instance? And no DVR. I just feel like a slave to Comcast.

Comcast? Poor Buffy ... :(
