One of the best movies ive seen in a while, possibly the best movie this year? Jackman and Gyllenhaal are superb, plot is very good.

Forbidden Planet
I might fall asleep before it ends, but I'm enjoying it. It's fulfilling a need for entertaining old sci-fi movies, and the way that it is like a sci-fi version of Shakespeare's The Tempest is fun (but I'm not at all awake enough to fully appreciate and analyze that aspect of the film).

You're Next
It was cool, I guess, but...
|
I called the entire movie as soon as the black haired girlfriend was introduced and the pudgy idiot ran away without dying. I don't know why but something about the chick gave everything away. Not that it was some intricate master plot or anything, but I was still annoyed that I picked out the double cross inheritance scam. And that a first responder would walk into the maul trap at the end. |
Definitely some good violence if you're into that.

I loved this movie. The premise of a man falling in love with his computer's advanced AI is absurd, but it's pulled off really well and feels very heartfelt. Even if you don't feel involved in the romantic drama I feel like it says a lot about people these days always feeling the need to be plugged into some hi-tech device to get through their daily lives.
Every time Amy Adams was on screen I just wanted to hug her and tell her everything would be ok.
It's probably my favorite movie of 2013. | Nintendo Network ID: EctoCooler47 |

Wait, I've seen many comments on Frozen being good, but it seems so ... commong between animated movies now (at least trailer seemed that way), I'm not sure of going wanting to watch it.
Like I said on ProM, The Hobbit: DoS was good, but with each movie from the Trilogy makes me think that the ending for the first three was really stupid and not done as epic as it should be. Either that or Tolkien is the biggest troll ever. | I used to travel the universe, but settled for parks.
