Iceland is a sweet place. I've spent a quality 90 minutes in the country (two flights through the airport to/from US and Sweden). I'd love to go back and spend a couple of weeks. I have a number of colleagues who either live in or work in Iceland. Great place to do geology!

Like i mean i knew it was a "country" the way Antarctica is a continent and shit but I didnt realize there were enough people there to have a government and whatnot.

Iceland has some hot chicks too.

I shared an Onion article on Facebook and my one uncle commented with "Well played, The Onion". I'm very confused by what this means. I dunno if he found it particularly funny or if he only just now realized all I ever share on Facebook is Onion or Clickhole content

Has anyone here gotten a LOOTCRATE? I like the concept but from what I've seen I'd probably only like a small fraction of stuff each month

I'm not sure how much it is. I considered signing up but had the same fear re: only liking a fraction of the stuff.

I'm subscribed to the next Smuggler's Bounty Box (https://www.smugglersbounty.com/). More inclined to sign up when I know the general theme of what I'm paying for. I'd hate to feel like I wasted money on a lootcrate that had almost nothing I valued.

Oh a Star Wars themed one would be cool, at least I know I'll like everything

I don't wanna get a Lootcrate filled with Doctor Who and Harry Potter shit. I think I'll just look at a bunch of past ones and see if the majority of stuff in each one interests me

Yeah I get smugglers bounty and its great. Great shirts and exclusive funko pops every other month.

Lootcrate is too unpredictable. We did get japancrate for a while but that was essentially just a box of Japanese candy.
