That's actually the cards I sell the most of :D
How long ago did you play? You might be sitting on some gold if it's like Alpha/Beta/Revised stuff. |
It's all pretty much Alpha/Beta/Revised stuff. :)
a bunch of us got into it when it was just getting rolling in 93 or 94 or whenever. I have a box of the cards sitting up with some of my other card games (Decipher Star Wars CCG, Jihad and whatever the werewolf one was, etc.) |
Nice man. All Alpha/Beta rares are worth a lot now. |
Found some of my cards and started looking through them. So far I've found a Tundra from Revised and Karakas from Legends that are both worth $150+ apparently. | How can you have any pudding if you won't eat your meat? |

I drove two hours to Arches National Park this morning for absolutely no reason. Then when I got there, it was raining so I never left the car nor took pictures. |

During the middle of a transaction, a customer was checking his phone and was like "Aw Patty Duke died" and then "You probably don't know who that is" and in my head I was like "AU CONTRAIRE, OLD MAN. She's Sean Astin's mom, Lucille Ball didn't like her dating Desi Jr, and she was in The Miracle Worker, which I watched in like middle school and kind of hated (not really for the movie itself but just because it had nothing to do with what we were doing in class)"
but I just told him I did know of her as an actress but couldn't picture her face.

I spent about ~1100 dollars on computer parts (including a monitor and other things I didn't already have for outside of the computer), spent 12 hours the other night watching Youtube tutorials and putting it together and now it won't even turn on. The power button lit up for exactly a third of a second the first time I pressed it, but that was it.
This was my first attempt at building a PC and I've never felt quite as defeated as I do right now.

I don't really know anything about building computers but maybe some connection isn't right or the power supply isn't working? There are a few forums for pc building you can ask for help at too | d ( i n o s r o a ) r

I went through most of the things on that list. I can see it possibly being that maybe I got some thermal paste on something other than the top of the CPU. Because I struggled with that part a little bit. I've got a friend that is going to look at it, but he can't make time until this weekend. I just have to hold out until then, but I'm so impatient and it's just sitting here on my desk like right beside my head mocking me.
I hope to god it's something I've just installed or plugged in incorrectly, and not something I've done that will cause me to have to spend another three or four hundred dollars to fix.

building a computer is so scary, i hope it turns out okay!
i realized about 6 months into mine that i hadn't attached both (why it needed two i still don't know..) of the power cords necessary to run the graphics card, so it was going off the default one for that time.

Oh boy, I had startup issues when I built mine Zersch.
I found that unplugging each component one by one and continually testing it can help narrow down the problem. Doing this I eventually figured that the issue with mine was that I hadn't inserted the RAM properly.
Maybe try that if you haven't already?

That said, I'm the last person you should be taking advice off, because whilst I eventually got my build to work, it does get the blue screen of death every time I unplug something from the USB ports.

USB ports seem glitchy on their own sometimes tbh. My dad built my desktop and the front USB ports are a nightmare. Half the time they aren't working, then other times plugging in one disrupts the other and neither works. I would blame my dad for it if my laptop didn't occasionally crash because things are plugged in when it exits sleep mode. | d ( i n o s r o a ) r
