The twice-failed presidential candidate would not “let a little thing like two stunning defeats stand in the way of her claim to the White House," they wrote. |

The biggest problem with the blue wave was location tbh (:
There were a lot of democrat votes... just not in the places it really mattered.
Still, winning the house is nothing to sneeze at. At least theres 1 check and balance still in play. Senate was always a pipe dream |
It's also not very balanced that each state has two senators. Like why does Rhode Island have 2 and California also has only two. Just like the electoral college system - it's broken.

Everybody gets 2 senators.
If you want representation by population, go to the House.
And since we are talking about representation by population, Wyoming is vastly over represented in the House, as the average population per representative is about 710,000 people, and the "district" of Wyoming only has about 450,000 people.
So, all those republican ranchers have almost twice the voting power (relatively speaking) as the normal American. Go Wyoming!

I know. My response was sarcastic, but each State has 2 Senators because the system is designed for each State to be represented equally, at least on some level. Otherwise, the large States would have full control of everything all of the time. That's not the way our system was designed.

Are the States more similar to smaller countries than just individual parts of a larger host body?
Ideally 1 vote per person is the best and most logical answer, but your country is a bit different than other countries.
