TWO CENTS First, we really are not the delicate flowers some of you seem to think we are. That's not the concern here at all. Most of us joke with each other and are dicks to each other and can take it just fine, it's all part of the fun really and no one ever really goes too far with it The difference is when certain people show up and make absolutely no effort to be apart of the forum or the community in any way, like Primate. There are some who spoil the bunch, who showed up just to smite a prominent member of the forum just because they knew she wouldn't like it, who also have killed that person twice during the day in mafia games just to piss her off, and who are just overall cunts - they're the ones who really have no purpose being here. Quite a few of you have branched out and are making an effort to fit in instead of trying to divide and it's great, those are the people who will stick around and who I enjoy at this point. Even the ones that I've fought with in the past. Even JC!!!!!! When I see Primate talking shit and posting his COME AT ME BRO I DARE YOU thing....PEACE OUT! If I don't ban him I'm a pussy according to him, if I do then I'm "butthurt", but if he's gonna challenge me to do it and think that I won't then that's his loss. I haven't banned a single person in the 9ish years that I've become Admin (if you can believe it with all of the tyranny jokes). And I've shrugged off or tolerated way more obnoxious things than what Primate said. But those were by people who made an effort to be a member of the forum and who contributed in some sorta way, unlike Primate or Jake from State Farm or whoever If some Primate pals take an issue with it and decide to leave then that's fine, FE will live. Groups have come and gone plenty of times before and typically a good chunk of them stick around and are absorbed perfectly into the community, just like many of you have

while I'm no fan of Primate, to me it seems like the punishment doesn't fit the crime. If all he did was smite Buffy and kill her in a mafia game, that just more seems like a butthurt Buffy complained until Curtis banned him.

If that's all it takes to get banned around here then I probably should have been banned over a year ago. I non-stop smited Christian for like a solid two months and to this day still do everything i can to get him lynched in mafia.

If fuckface would have handed me a gun instead of Primate there would be a dead Christian in the game instead of Buffy and I would have done it just for the lulz, and I think it would be fair to say there's no way I would or should have expected a ban.

The only thing I can think of is either Buffy bitched a lot more or she's considered a more "prominent" member of the site than Christian.

But yeah like I said, I'm no fan of Primate but I think at most he should be like suspended from the site until after the next mafia game starts. A straight up ban seems like massive overkill for something that lots of people (or at least me) do around here on a regular basis.

If smiting people can get people banned then what is the point of even having the feature on the site? if daykilling someone with a gun is enough to get someone banned then should we outlaw all daykills in mafia games?

Just seems a bit ridiculous to me, just my opinion.

There seems to have been an exchange between Curtis and Primate in the game thread that seems to have been the trigger for the banning. Primate asked Curtis to ban him and Curtis told him he would.

I don't think he would've banned if he hadn't asked for it, and maybe it's just temporary?

This really pisses me off that you are saying I bitched about it and that's why Primate is banned. Ugh I just hate people that don't know what they're talking about but go on a long tirade about it anyway.

Curtis said one of the reasons he was banned was because he continually smited you. I'm not the one that brought that up.
