dumb drunk humphrey bogart saying his witty lines with an american accent OOH SO COOL. and perky tits ingrid bergman with her bitch attitude. pissed me off. and what was with that predictable ending? NOT COOL

now i'm not saying now you see me is anywhere near casablanca but its disregard for plot in favor of entertaining setpieces and funny lines reminded me a lot of an old school hollywood movie

I just couldnt watch the movie without cringing. Watching the 4 of them narrowly avoid the cops at every turn and all of them being witty as hell, I couldnt even take the movie seriously. every character was basically the same with minor differences.

The Benchwarmers

Not a great movie but I did laugh like an idiot several times. Mainly at the agoraphobic brother.

Thunderstruck

I guess it was as good as a movie about a highschool kid and a professional NBA player switching talent could be.

Stand By Me

It still holds up to me, really good movie.

I love Benchwarmers. It's funny in a stupid way, gets the job done.

I watched Don Jon the other day, I didn't think I'd like it but it was better then expected. 6 out of 10.

Finally got around to watching Star Trek: Into Darkness. I thought it was great and just as good (if not better) than the first one.

Brazil

Ahhhh this film! Terry Gilliam is so awesome! This was my 2nd time seeing it and I know it's not a comedy really, but I was laughing during a lot of it. Solid film with brilliant cinematography, set design and music if you've never seen it.

Hatchet

Watched this once before, back when it came out, and didn't care for it. I liked it a little better this time, but it's pretty standard slasher fare. I'd still be interested in seeing the second one.

Killing Them Softly

Heard a lot of great things about this one and... wasn't crazy about it. I don't feel like my time was wasted, but I'll never watch it again.

Hatchet is a silly series but kinda fun I guess

Man of Steel. Oh men did that suck. I understand wanting to revamp a movie franchise but I have no idea what they were thinking with this one.

Also what was the deal with the instant zooming in and quick zooming out? That got really annoying very fast.

... holy shit.... movie of the year.

Watched the last three episodes (Ozymandias, Granite Slate, Felina) of Breaking Bad during the AMC marathon.

Have to say I liked them all a lot more the second time around for whatever reason. Especially the last episode. It hit me a lot harder during this viewing. Maybe it was because I was watching it by myself and the hype had long since dissipated. Whatever the case, it made me want to get the series on blu ray.

I kind of burnt out on chain-smoking movies, so I've also been watching a lot of Malcolm in the Middle on IFC, which is so much better than I ever gave it credit for. Malcolm, not IFC. Fuck IFC and their near constant Spoils of Babylon commercials. I hope it's a huge flop.
