Right. That's what I was thinking. These are my flats and I'd just wear them with black socks. My pants'll cover the open part anyway.

Update: We planned to be on the mountain today from 9-7. Sadly we were able to ski/snowboard for about 2 hours (teaching time for Carol's cousin and then about 4 runs down single green circles.)

One of the better first time snowboarders I've ever seen, but he broke his arm after he fell awkwardly trying not to faceplant. He kept trying to fall forward because he broke his other arm over the summer and didn't want to reinjure it. Accidentally caught his other arm underneath him when he fell. Thankfully, he just needs a cast and no surgery, but it was scary at the time.

The conversation was a solid hour block at the start of filler talk about room configurations and sneakers and how the Keurig is working. SRS part was 20% her telling him how much it bothers her that he doesnt recognize her as his girlfriend in public, 20% him agreeing that its totally unfair but carefully avoiding saying he'll change, and 60% "...yeah..."

Now they're arguing about the frequency of good morning texts and shes detailing her entire weekly schedule.

How did you manage to get through just listening to that entire conversation without stabbing yourself in the ear with a pencil?

Pretty disappointing for all the hype. Hopefully the re-boot is better

You should hear this roommate. She's got the worst voice and she never knows what she's talking about but tries very hard to act mature. We stopped inviting Rose to Skype with us so we wouldn't have to hear it
