Oh I know. The exclusive license bullshit is nauseating and not just for football either. Competition is healthy to have. I really dread what's going to happen to gaming if the console wars ever end. 2K made amazing football games and it gave Madden a reason to step up their game to compete with it. NFL 2K5, which was made almost a decade ago, still holds up today as a fantastic game.

With no competition, the casual fans who buy it and make up the majority of the audience will just pick it up without even thinking so they can play with their buddies online. No matter what, no exceptions. Same good sales every year and nothing can stand in it's way regardless of the shitty product it delivers. Ugh.

Course I say this after I did the same damn thing by giving EA my money for a game I knew would be lackluster.

Haha yeah. Don't even get me started with 2K14's issue. One of the key additions (The Lebron mode) you can't even save, how the hell are you supposed to play the mode if you can't freaking save.

My brothers really liked the Zelda game that recently came out for WiiU (although they got it with the system when I bought it for them) but they wouldn't get off that thing until they finished the whole game.

He's asking for the Zelda version, so would have that one. Good to know it's worth it.

In an attempt to learn pokemon before we dive into a 3DS and x/y this Christmas I'm attempting to work through white. Is there somewhere I can read online to actually learn about this stuff?

Ew...WHITE?!?!

If you mean like a walkthrough, they're all over the internet. If you mean like actually learning about Pokemon...you're on your own!

And mainly there have been several things in the x/y thread that I am completely lost on, I have a feeling I'll be using google a lot ;)

X and Y is far different though. White and Black are pretty simple in the grand scheme of things. It helps if you talk to NPCs on your first time through a game because they give helpful tricks and tips sometimes, but to understand exactly what you want, Google might be best.

Getting Call of Duty Ghosts next week on 360.

I've played all of the Call of Duty games and Battlefield games and I definitely prefer battlefield in terms of the teamwork aspect and overall mentality of the players. Of the two, I feel like B4 is more special in terms of the experience, and I am waiting until I get a next gen console for it.
