IT’S THAT TIME FOLKS! Time for our semi-regular suggestion push

In the past we’ve done things like:

- Added the Sports forum
- Split Movies and Television
- Made the FE Post Rank Guide
- Made a push for more general games
- Banned Igor

And all made FE a much better place and brought us more activity

Onto the next suggestions. As a reminder:

Now that work is slowing down again I can probably host more forum games again if needed.

As always -- I suggest a music forum in case the interest level has changed at all. I think more interactive game that are somewhat ongoing could be fun. Like a forum run D&D-esque game? I could look into hosting something like that but I'd probably want a few people to help with that.

I’m all for ongoing games. Or like semi-annual EVENT games. I love that stuff

Some more games would be good. We went HARD earlier this year and then died down in the summer naturally

I’m down to retire our barnyard trio at this point tbh. Maybe in favor of some different style but equally as quick drop in/drop out type games? Those are fun

And one day we can bring the barnyard animal games back when we aren’t as burnt out on them. We can maybe keep one or two and come up with one or two totally new ones, always keeping it at three. That’s kinda fun

Maybe we can come up with a game or event type thing to do consistently on the first of every month. Something to kinda look forward to. Not sure what though

I can do some thinking about games! Maybe a new game every month that fits the theme/holiday of the month? Kind of like the Thanksgiving, Halloween, Christmas game you have but on a smaller scale.

I'm also okay to retire the barnyard, they've all been at a standstill for quite some time.

After dipping my toes in with Monster of the Week i'd love to help with a D&D style game. I also played actual D&D for the first time recently

on that note something goofy and casual would be fun too, maybe with the powered by the apocalypse system MOTW is based on. It really wouldn't be hard at all to set up something LOW STAKES

Yeah! I wouldn't want to set up anything too serious or heavy since I assume it'll be most people's first time playing a D&D style game. If you do wanna help, I'll reach out to you soon and we can talk things over! And if anyone else is interested, that'd be awesome too.

I’ve been wanting to run a zombie game for aaaaages. Years ago I almost did it as a zombie Lab style game with a group moving through a city, but lately I’ve been thinking it could be a really fun RPG/choose your own adventure style thing that could possibly span a fairly long period of time if wanted

Like it’d be cool if a BUNCH of us played as characters in a colony trying to survive. If the game lasted a long time then a character/player death would really be felt. That could even be the monthly game maybe, like the game is played the first three days of every month and then closes and we check in with the characters a month later (maybe it could be real time). The game is just always ongoing for awhile instead of something faster like Mafia or Lab

Maybe there could be surprise moments in the middle of the month where zombies or raiders flood into the camp and you need to get as many people as you can to respond within a time frame or else the group takes a large hit in some way. Something to keep people on their toes once or twice between monthly start sessions
