Here's an update: I have an interview at Microcenter on Monday. I applied like two days ago and honestly wasn't expecting them to call me. I barely remember what I personally wrote in the app except that I have a laptop and I use it for gaming and social media and daily life stuff. My basic computer knowledge doesn't come from tinkering with them or anything cool like that. I just look shit up until I figure it out. I had to google Microcenter ... it's like Circuit City used to be for us in the Midwest. And if it's comparable, you sound like you're more than qualified. Good Luck!

Yeah, I think it is like Circuit City. That or Best Buy, but smaller. I've never seen another Micro Center around, but I guess this one's still doing well. I feel like I always see hiring signs out there when I go, but it's the same way at the Bed, Bath, and Beyond nearby (which I should also apply at but their applications are all paper).

Nah, women in "technology" field do awesome! If they offer some kind of commission, and you're not a dog, you should be able to up sell the geeks shopping there. (No offense Igor, Vic, Curtis, Christian, Brian, Nofo, Chris, .... hell FE!)
