JUST GOT A WII U TODAY!! Got the Wind Waker HD bundle and holy shit what a gorgeous game it is. I bought Rayman Legends as well and that game is DEFINITELY worth it no matter what console you have.
If anyone else has a Wii U and wants to add me, greenday61892 is my ID
Please ask me on October 1st if they woke me up. I've literally never heard it before and I'm definitely not tired of it.
I'd say Max Payne 3 is worth whatever they're asking. Henry can no doubt tell you more about it than I ever could.
lel bruh ;D

Wal-Mart's having a dirt-cheap sale on a lot of Xbox games, so I might pick some up.
Anybody got an opinion on Metro: Last Light or Max Payne 3?
both games deliver an awesome experience (though very different in comparison)
you should get both. IF you have to decide between one of the two I'd say go for Max Payne 3 obviously, because I'm a die-hard fan of this franchise, because bullet time gunplay is the best thing ever that happened to gaming and because of how incredibly immersive and developed the gameplay under R.A.G.E. has become. You know RDR, well picture RDR gun mechanics turned up a notch and dragged into the present combined with the signature shoot-dodging moves...buying Max Payne 3. can't go fuckin wrong with that!
but iirc you're kind of a "zombie, survival, etc." something guy, or at least you find joy in those games a lot or whatever, anyhow I guess you'd be also very content with Metro: Last Light. Apart from the unchallenging/sometimes useless stealth system this game is pretty immersive and totally delivers. it's a carefully crafted piece of art, that ukranian team really did a remarkable job for the circumstances they were developing under. the game is great. a worthy continuation ot the franchise for sure, even though arguably the 1st game was "darker". nowadays games just "have to" include certain, one could say unnecessary features, that are there just for the sake of convenience or whatever. anyhow the game's good for sure and certainly worth a few bucks.
I really think you should get both. ironically those two are one of the few (maybe a handful) games I've played and thoroughly enjoyed in 2013. it was gaming heaven to be honest. those two games up high in the clouds
"There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die."
On Henry's advice, I picked up Max Payne 3, for the princely sum of 15 dollars. I then proceeded to watch the opening cutscene, shoot one dude in the head, and then turn the game off because Robette got home.
We'll see how this goes.
"If Rebekah could keep doing this, she could gain favor and become a ruthless dictator."
Wolf Among Us. Normally not something i'd ever really be interested in but it's made by Telltale and patterned exactly after the Walking Dead game so it's worth a sniff for $5 I suppose.
Edit: Definitely interesting. The characters retain their cartoony appearance and personalities, but it doesn't hold it back from being grisly and dark. It's a cool contrast. Wouldn't say it's as good as TWD, but I'm looking forward to the other episodes nonetheless. Anyone that liked that would probably like this.
EA needs to either step their game up, or just stop. This is a massacre. I wish they didn't have the sole rights to NFL games because I am intrigued as hell to see what 2K would do with an NFL game. (Both gameplay trailers, EA is like 10 years too late with these graphics)
My goofy friend begged me to get Madden 25 since all he plays is Cawodoody and Madden and he wants to play online. He never actually does though cause his internet is shit, but that's besides the point.
Anyway I don't know why the fuck I bothered. Literally copy and pasted from last game aside from slightly better graphics and animations. And people don't drop the ball every play while Phil Simms shouts at me for being a terrible quarterback so that's good. Instead he talks about bad routes during field goal kicks and BOY YOU KNOW THE JETS HAD A TOUGH YEAR LAST SEASON every two seconds. Man fuck EA.
It's cause they have no competition for football games. Kind of like 2k this year, no basketball competition (serious competition, EA in basketball is a joke). Until the NFL and EA forego whatever thing they have, we'll probably be subject to the same game repacked with slightly upgraded graphics, a few tweaks and new players (who I might add, all have the same fucking face except for big name players) which is only a minor detail cause they all wear helmets and what not, but pre-game stuff it's horrible to see the same face on different jerseys.
