Old Weezer

Mal picked my fave Death Cab song, which Vern apparently hated.

I listened to that song so often in high school and my dad DESPISED it. He called it the "You Were So Condescending Song" and would put on this nasally lil' voice when he said it.

But I love "Title and Registration." Except for the line about the glove compartment, because what should it actually be named? I think it was probably accurately named at the time it was named.

I've gotten to the point where I can identify who chose what song just by listening and not looking at the list.

For example, if it's a little twangy it's almost always Havo's. If my ears start to bleed within 10 seconds, it's Spin's. If it's a little weird it's Boc's. If it's incredibly weird it's Merc's.

I like the instrumentals with Boc's, but paired with the lyrics it just kind of creeped me out. Super sad song!

Yup lol. Their first album had this written in the Allmusic review:
“ Ozma may have arguably written the best Weezer album of 2001 (and yes, the real thing also had an album come out the same year).”
