wasn't he a finalist last year or the year before? i remember a rant about winning in the finals but not being voted as the winner

everyone who played the game with u votes for 2 people to move forward regardless of their personal win-loss. votes are usually based on level and quality of overall contribution to the game. unsure if the viewers/mods vote too or is it just the players but i'd lean the latter

person who gets MOST votes from each game moves directly into the next stage and person who gets 2nd most votes gets to participate in one more game. where i think a similar voting happens
