it's part of what I don't like about him. The whole thing where he made everyone open their bags to see who had in idol? Hated it.
That was a GREAT moment! I love that he had people dumping out their bags, even though they didn't see anything. But, Also, Adam kinda made it seem likely he had it imo.
The thing that surprised me about Danni's statement about 'sticking to a solid alliance' in her original season is that it almost makes me feel like she doesn't recognize how she won her original season. She maneuvered her way into existing alliances by utilizing her subtle social charm and making the best out of it. Which, sure, made her in turn loyal to whatever alliance she ended up in... but that idea of staying loyal is not the principle in which she played her game and won, as her original alliance was picked off one-by-one at the early merge. It's kind of sad seeing her being so out of touch of the strategic aspect of the game. It's tragic seeing such an anticipated player succumb to paranoia.
I was thinking the same thing when Danni talked about how her loyalty was why she won. It was completely not.
I'm not sad to see Danni leave except I do wish the old-schoolers would've reigned her back in just for now to help get out a new-schooler. Ben leaving would have been so amazing.
Also, glad for my girl, Kim in finding the idol but idk why she picked Sophie to share with. It would've been so much better if she picked Yul and I think he would reciprocate more than Sophie will. But, I have faith in Kim and she has three more days to work herself in further.
Tony going from dominant maniac, to flop maniac, to fun maniac might be my favorite Survivor arc. Can't wait for the moment where he really turns on the gameplay, but these character moments are amazing for now
