Prob an unpopular opinion but I actually really liked this episode and it made me optimistic about the rest of the season. This case seems promising.

Early faves are Keith, Eric, and that New York woman who can’t chop things.

I’ll always root for Aubry though cause she’s an all-time fave.

I’m also kind of excited about the extinction twist because Reem is the most hilarious person imaginable from this cast to go there so I’m kinda here for it. I agree with Dyl that the editing was epic.

Despite the twist and a mediocre episode, I still have hope for this season. Not sure what they could have done about the episode, it seemed like an obvious boot and even the tribe didn’t have a lot of decoys.

The twist decidedly sucks, but I am holding out some hope that it ends earlier than the end game and that it doesn’t explicitly favor the returnees.

My hope is really about the cast. I think listening to first one out (rob has a podcast pre-season coverage) the past couple seasons has really made me like the casts more. I highly recommend it for anyone who doesn’t feel as connected to the characters. Ik it’s not canon but it at least helps me see that everyone has potential, and it discerns the superfans from the new fans. There are actually lots of superfans this season! Anyway, here for the (new) cast. Returnees are okay. Twist sucks.

Thought it was a fine premiere overall. The returnees weren’t crammed down our throats too hard and there seems to be some decent characters in the newbies. No one I’m really hardcore connecting with right off the bat like I usually do though
