Lucy wasn't feeling well today. It first started this morning when her legs started feeling extra heavy. Then, it was she had a hard time bending over to tie her shoes. Now, it was her arms, which felt like they weighed 100 pounds each.
"Guys, I'm.....having....a hard....time....breathing..." she gasped out to the rest of the group.
They were amazed at what they saw. Before their eyes, she was slowly turning to stone!
"What kind of sorcery is this?" someone shouted out, but none of them knew the answer.
Just then, a bolt of lightning shot down from the sky and hit Lucy square on the top of the head. All of the other children were knocked off their feet by the power of the bolt.
When they scrambled back to their feet, they were amazed to see little bitty pieces of stone Lucy spread all over the yard.
