Episode #1
"I'm Not Crazy, I'm Confident" - Jacob
Zersch welcomed the 18 new castaways to the 35th season of Survivor. He tells them that they have been divided into three tribes based on the positive traits most associated with them by others: Heroes, Healers, and Hustlers.
During the challenge, Curtis found a secret advantage. The Healers and Heroes came in first and second, respectively, while the Hustlers went completely off course. The Healers tribe had no problem creating fire with their kit, while Bryce developed an attraction towards Jamie. The next day, JJ decides to look for a hidden immunity idol, but KC became suspicious of JJ's absence and later confronted him over where and what he had been doing. At the Heroes tribe, a majority formed between Jacob, Christian, Josh, and Brian, but Jacob became suspicious over Christian and Brian's bond. Still intimidated by their connection the following night, he pulls Brian aside and asks him whether he has a hidden immunity idol. Despite pulling out his pockets and stripping nude to prove he is not hiding anything on his body, Jacob continued to harass Brian over having an idol. This irked Christian, who walked in on the two during their argument and began wondering whether aligning with Jacob was a good idea. At the Hustlers Tribe, Maddie impresses his tribe mates and forms an alliance with Patrick. Meanwhile, Curtis opens his "secret advantage," which is that he has a "super immunity idol" that can be played after the votes are read. This advantage can only be used at the first Tribal Council. If his tribe does not go to the first Tribal Council, he must send it to someone on the losing tribe, who will not be aware of who sent the advantage. Later, Curtis decides to inform Rose of this advantage, and offers to use it on him in the event they end up at Tribal Council. Rose is thrilled over the news and forms a final 2 deal with Curtis.
After Josh and Dylan's poor maneuvering of the maze, the Healers and Hustlers won immunity, sending the Heroes to Tribal Council and forcing Curtis to will his advantage. When the Heroes get back to camp, the majority decided to send Jake home over Dylan, but the tension between Jacob and Christian still lingered. Jacob later approached Dylan and Jake with a plan to vote out Christian, and tries to convince Josh in joining them. Josh tried to assure Jacob that Christian and Brian were loyal to them, but Jacob was still paranoid over the potential couple. Before Tribal Council, Dylan learned that she had been given the secret advantage.
At Tribal Council, Christian called Jacob out for his irrational behavior, while Jacob openly states that he does not trust Christian or Brian and warns his other tribe mates about them becoming a power couple. He also divulges that the initial discussion was between voting out Dylan and Jake. Ultimately, the plan to vote out Jake was followed and she became the first person voted out in a unanimous 5-1 vote.

Episode #2
"I'm A Wild Banshee" - Maddie
The Heroes tribe returns from Tribal Council after voting out Jake and Dylan is pleased with the result as she feels she will no longer be a target due to the tension between Jacob, Brian and Christian. The next morning, Curtis of the Hustlers tribe is pleased with his position within the tribe; believing he has a strong connection with all members except Boc. Boc celebrates her triumph over the outdoors and in spite of her wilderness inexperience, she believes her perseverance sums up a 'Hustler'. Later, Patrick approaches Boc and compliments her work ethic to lure Boc in as a potential ally. At the Healers Tribe, Jamie and Bryce bond over fishing on the raft they had won as a reward in the previous challenge. Meanwhile, KC starts to search for the Hidden Immunity Idol. He finds a clue carved onto a tree but misinterprets its meaning and believes it to be underneath the raft Jamie and Bryce are using. Upon confronting Jamie to determine whether he found the idol or not, it is apparent Jamie has not found it so KC shares the clue with him. Together they find the idol, but KC makes sure that he grabs it first and is happy to have the power but worried that Jamie may use the information as leverage. Back at the Heroes tribe, Brian catches a lobster for his tribe and hopes to distill the drama around camp and remove the target from his back. Dylan approaches each of the tribe members individually in an effort to determine the most valuable ally. She decides that Josh would be good to work with and the two agree that working together is mutually beneficial. On the Hustlers Tribe, Maddie tries to amuse his tribe-mates through acting boisterous around camp, much to the disdain of Vic. Vic approaches Patrick about her frustration with Maddie and Patrick also feels frustrated that Maddie's antics could jeopardize their strategic position within the tribe and considers voting him out.
Despite starting the puzzle first, Boc's inability to assist with the puzzle meant that the Heroes and Healers came from behind to win immunity, sending the Hustlers to tribal council. Boc apologies to the tribe, recognizing that she cost them the victory and hopes that she can convince the tribe the Maddie should go instead of her. Vic agrees that Maddie's unpredictability is dangerous. Maddie and Curtis discuss that the vote should be Boc and they encourage Patrick to join them. Patrick is aware that she has options and meets up with Curtis to see what he is thinking. The two way the pros and cons of keeping both people but both recognize they should keep the person they trust more.
At tribal, all of the Hustlers acknowledge that they would prefer not to vote someone off but they must. Maddie emphasizes that tribe strength is most important moving forward whilst Boc emphasizes that trust is more important. In an accidental slip-up, Maddie accidentally says that he trusts 'most' of his tribe-mates, when he intended to say all, which causes his tribe-mates to question the sincerity of the statement. Nonetheless, the tribe ends up deciding to vote out Boc and she became the second person voted out in another unanimous 5-1 vote.
