Add to it that Jamie could have easily joined them had cult not grabbed him and mafia would have likely won the game. I forget which day, but I think one day there was: 1 Mafia 2 Cult 1 SKer 4 Town The mafia person at this point had sort of "proved" their hider role, so was considered town. If Miko hadn't scanned zersch before dying, I think zersch could have very well won the game.

Point is, 2 mafia people had different win conditions hurting the mafia team. I don't think it's fair to them as a group. I also hate the ursurper roleand it should only be used when Spin is GF

I really like how intertwined the hidden reveals where with so many other variable. Worked out nicely and was creative Nicely done IM.

I was so worried about Lamps being recruited but decided to trust him. Glad I did. He was literally the best partner I've ever had in a game. Was a first time for both of us being Masons <3

Thanks for the game im and vlady. It was definitely interesting to play as a mafia mason usurper. I was hesitant to throw Herm under the bus when I was caught scum, as taking out 3 of the 5 mafia members in quick succession put a serious damper on our chances to win, but I had to play to my win condition and hope that Zersch could slide by long enough to win.

I didn't keep up after I died, but I do remember the night I died. I thought it was funny that the mafia both blocked and killed me because they were worried I would doc myself, and that same night I forgot to submit any action at all!

I believe the thought process was, don't try to kill you the night after you claim, as you should be watched, but to do it the next night when the watcher couldn't watch you back-to-back nights. Merc being able to watch the same person back-to-back nights screwed that up.

Maddie couldn't roleblock the same person back-to-back.
I couldn't roleblock the same person back-to-back.
Zersch couldn't hide behind the same person back-to-back.
You couldn't doctor the same person back-to-back.

Yet, Merc could watch the same person. That's my only complaint with the setup. Consistency people!

If Merc doesn't watch you that night, Mafia probably wins, and the game definitely ends differently, as Zersch and I would have had to prevented the mafia from winning too quickly to get Herm lynched.

yeah my goal was to not give out info on anyone or any roles still in the game via hidden text, so a bunch of stuff got held back for a while. there was actually less hidden text to add later then i thought since i had put the same info in both players it would affect. that way when the second half of something flipped the hidden text for that role made it unnecessary to add it to the other role.

there were some potentially fun things that didn't happen as well. Jamie joining the mafia or even more fun secretly joining the mafia as part of the Mafia Masons. TIB potentially catching the Ninja SKer by scent. Primate being turned town by meeting with Lamps. Farlig turning town or unaligned if Angi died. and Angi protecting someone from a kill also blocking the killer from doing anything the next night.

in hindsight i probably should have also limited the investigative roles that way.

Killing the dog was the worst part.

IM didn't even want to do flavor for that.

Primate and Zersch definitely MVPs, IMO. Merc also played this game quite well.

I thought about modifying your character's actual death, but I wanted to drop in the element that Miko had pointed you out as scum (and he was Joss Carter) and the fact that your chess buddy (Finch aka Lamps) was dead. So I grabbed some dialogue from a few episodes between Carter and Elias, mixed them with the chess board in the prison (Rikers Island, actually), added a little extra dialogue pieces to pull it together, then stuck a shiv in him.

Elias dies saving Finch, so that wasn't going to work too well here (since you killed him the night before). ;)
