Once you hit level 20 the game just zones out. It's so impossible to progress and the sheer amount of bugs and lack of updates are hurting it dramatically.

They really need to build in more functionality soon.

This exactly. I hit 20 and was excited to get my Ultra balls. Then I had a lucky egg to grind to 21. Just played occasionally to get to 22. Now I am kind of bored. I've caught 86 unique pokemon which is over half. And I know some of them are region locked or not even in the game yet. So knowing there aren't many new Pokemon around and never seeing some of them (I live in a high bug/plant type area I have NEVER seen a Geodude, Onyx, etc in the wild) I have finally gotten bored of the game. I even went to the lake everyday and grinded my 400 Magikarp candy.

They just ended a double candy event for valentines day (which lasted like 5 days). They added two new berries. They updated the look and it looks pretty neat now.

Other than that, nothing is new. But Gen 2 has a ton of my favorites in it. I can finally evolve my Golbats that's I've been saving candy for for months.

I stopped playing pretty much, but I'm going to go for it again now and try to get all but 4 Pokemon until I get bored again.

the game is garbage in my area since I'm not in an overly populated city and on the outskirts of my city so the game is not fun to play. I love gen 2 but not enough to redownload the game

That's how I feel since I moved to NC. There are like two poke stops. I drive 15 minutes out east to a local college when I'm low on items.

I definitely lost a lot of interest because I only needed like 3 gen 1 evolutions and I can't find any of the Pokemon I need in my area. So I'm bored catching the same 5 things.

I've been playing a bit it's kind of perfect because I just happen to be taking a trip to Tennessee this week so pokemon galore.

I've got a Natu on my shoulder already. I love gen 2.
