That seemed dumb Tai.
He's gotta be target #1 now. He would have atleast had a couple more votes if he had stuck with the boys.
Plus if Aubry left it would have been a wildcard on who wins. |
Scot/Jason said they planned to blindside Tai as soon as they could since he's a jury threat and take Julia instead
They might've just been saying that to appease Julia but I doubt it. It would've made the most sense for them

No I agree that is the case. But I feel like Tai is just a sitting duck right now. Sure he has an idol but after that is used he's done. Atleast with Jason and Scot they probably wouldn't have taken him out until like 5.

Fisbach posted this quote on twitter and I really think it sums up how great Aubry is playing:
"I want you to be comfortable. This is your game, you're making a big move. You have 3 people behind you. I'm positive".

That was perfection. For Aubrey and Joe and Cydney and Michelle. Not sure where that leaves Tai, but I love that it happened. One idol gone, and with it the super idol, Jason has no more protection, and the girls can take charge.

I just saw this, and it's actually a really reasonable explanation on the reason why Jeff may not like this season as much as us.
|
Kaoh Rong being such a production nightmare is likely influencing his feelings. It feels akin to Marquesas- fans at home love it, but it wasn't fun for those who lived it with the players. |
|
Yeah, that's a really keen analogy. This season does feel a lot like a modern-day Marquesas!
Also, I guess if we think about it. The whole time this was filming (April 2015), what was happening back in the States? We were all watching Worlds Apart. And the whole S30 fiasco happened with the Shirin vs. the world conflict catastrophe. Everybody was getting so upset over Will and Dan's treatment of her. And poor Jeff was over in Cambodia trying to film Kaoh Rong as so many production things (like 2 to 3 medevacs were happening). Can't imagine how in the world Jeff kept his sanity. Bears witness to the fact that he is a really good host and a huge part of the reason the show is still around. |
