Congrats Jay, wow didn't expect this outcome would even be possible. That's pretty cool! We seriously had the worst mafia team ever. Ever. When everyone was frustrated with the list, I was mostly frustrated with the mafia team. I'm sure I made some stupid decisions too but there was literally no feedback from anyone so yeah whatever. I expected to be lynched right after Brian's flip, even before Jay outed his real info, and then lived like what, 4 days? That was crazy. I was rooting for town > Jay > Raiders > my own mafia team. Thanks for the game Ahoda/Ben/JC!

Your mafia team was awful. Zero went inactive, Redster was MIA and when he did post it was nothing helpful, and Patrick was just....Patrick. Vlady did a good job of running the show but his last couple nights were fail worthy.

Never forgot about Jay and would have been happy to split with him, but Ahoda said no to Jay on that.

Jay called me out early, but nobody paid attention to that- I had to be the helpful townie- so much so that the Raiders were trying to make me look like I was one of them (and, I admit, it was hard to argue against). :rofl:

Killing Vern was probably my biggest fail- the fact he was still alive when people told me he usually gets killed off early and the fact he was siding so hard with Ari made me think he had to be a Raider.

Jay pretty much called out our whole enviro team early, but nobody paid attention to him. The fact he didn't keep pushing it meant I wanted him to survive as long as possible, especially since his BP vest is the only thing that made the game last as long as it did (and ultimately undid the Raiders as a possible force, since it gave us the chance to keep going). Pretty sure the Raiders assumed I was Ari's BP counterpart, not knowing that we had completely different roles from them. No other reason to not try to kill me again.

Zero was almost non existent at the beginning and totally gone when Zook got killed, so there was zero (pun intended) discussion in our forum after Lamps was gone. There were a couple of times I noted to Patrick that he was on his own when I got killed, only to not be targeted.

Only when you know the setup. Vern looked bad, so he was more obvious potential target. Not knowing if you'd let us win with cult still alive, we had to target Jay that night and not knowing what chris might or might not do meant I had to make the kill and I had to use Zero to RB chris. It makes logical sense, especially since we had no idea that Jay could use his abilities over and over instead of one-shots, nor if he had a RB or not. If chris had an ability that could have effected, then that would have been a fail too.

Nah, I think they just decided to target someone else the next time. They realized pretty quickly that it was the vest that saved you. Not quickly enough, though!

I think Jay deserved the win. He got screwed over with the way his role went and Brian's untimely death. Then he got absolutely brushed aside by everyone and treated like a small vegetable that grows in dirt. His input was never wanted or accepted, but he did what he had to to stay alive and claim victory for himself.

As much as I agree with this overall post, if you look at my night actions, the only way my death was untimely is the fact that I should've died much earlier, lol.

LOL- Jay wasn't much of a threat.

If we'd actually had a Zero playing, we wouldn't have been in a position for Jay to win anyway. But since he couldn't vote, I had to have him lynched instead just to get the day moving. Otherwise, even with plurality, the best Jay or chris was two votes to two votes. Then it would be one mafia killed and the other kills either chris or jay for the win. But without Zero able to vote, it was useless having an extra team member anyway. :(

Yeah I agree. Zero is a bitch for just quitting after Zook went full retard. if you read the little content in the mason forum you'll see Boc was justified in his accusation. I facepalmed when Zook posted what he did.

Chris was never "killed" in the game, ahoda just decided to kill me to make sure a GHBer got the win.

Jay does win for calling out most of the enviros back when he was in truth-telling mode on his big post, though. Even if nobody listened to him. I made sure to obfuscate from there as much as possible and meant I was distancing myself from Lamps early. I'm actually surprised Lamps survived as long as he did- a credit to him that he pulled that off.

Ohhh that makes sense. Ahoda just made a subjective call on who won the game based on things like "who played the best game" or "who's from GHB and who's not?"

no, cult won when it was 1 town and 1 cult just like mafia would.

i dunno why anyone would think cult could joint win with anyone that wasn't a survivor type role or something similar.
