He has made some real stinkers, apparently, though I haven't seen any. Crimes and Misdemeanors is really good too.

Annie Hall is his masterpiece. Good place to start. Manhattan was good too but darker, His love interest in it was 17 >_>. And Midnight in Paris was his most recent one also really good. Annie Hall may be the best starting point. |
aight. annie hall it is! | "There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die."

Easy Virtue - So I bought a collection of old Hitchcock movies on a whim the other day, having never seen any of his films (not even the famous ones). I started out my HITCHCOCK QUEST by watching this movie, a silent film from 1928. I was surprised by how entertaining (and progressive in its view of women tbh) it was given the fairly TRITE premise.

Reefer Madness, the colourized version. Oh men, I've seen it before but the colourisation made it all the more hilarious.

Nah, this is LEGACY OF SUSPENSE or something. Which would imply that the movies included are fairly suspenseful, but this one was a fairly straightforward character drama. So (:

Thats a good cartoon kids movie. Entertaining for those who are you know... not kids. | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

I haven't seen much for Early Hitchcock, but Hupu, you must see Rear Window. It is my favorite. Psycho too but everyone knows the spoiler. If you don't let that get you down and enjoy the film making though you realize how stunning it is. Rope is really good too and not many people talk about it at all. I have "The Masterpiece Collection"
