I'm an economist with a Big 4 firm and spend a lot of time figuring out how tax and other governmental policy changes are going to effect everything. I can wax for hours on insurance retaliatory taxes, let you know why the US is hosed for not being single payer, and show you exciting papers I've written on non-profit hospital community benefit. If you pay PMI on your mortgage, you have me to thank for getting that tax-deductible. :)

I work at a caring facility for mentally disabled adults. By far the best job I have ever had (I can seriously never see myself working in retail again after having such a heart-felt job like I do now), it's mainly helping them with feeding, changing, playing, socializing, etc. The facility has both high and low functioning and everything inbetween. Higher functioning clients usually have a psychological disorder, whereas the lower functioning clients usually have intellectual disabilities. So you get to work with a wide-range of mental states.
The best part is the bonds you make, they are absolutely heart-melting (when clients say they love you every day, it just makes it all worth it) - and all their adorkable quirks make it have a sense of authenticity about it. They truly don't care how they come across.
It pays well, and it was easy to get. It's hard to think why more people aren't in this field.
I know for sure with whatever I'm going to do in the future, I want to stay in this field. It's a very gratifying, passionate and heartfelt job. All my co-workers have the same love for the position as well. | 'Oh my god, it's full of stars!'

I am in the cleaning industry. When clients have a stain that needs to be eliminated forever I remove it for them.

I like how you diversified your operation. Cleaning car windshields is definitely something I can dig. Just like I dig shallow graves for all those stains.

Don't worry, the way things are going you will soon have opportunities. After the big war of course.
In the meantime, I WOULD like fries with that.
