yeah that one was solid. I didn't think too much of it until the last 15 minutes or so though. And I'm kinda disappointed that they never really followed up on that 'cliffhanger'. I thought shit was about to go down

I was wondering how they were gonna wrap up the Laurie being pregnant thing. That was a great twist. I really liked that whole montage in general. Poor Kevin got the worst case of blue balls ever Jill was possibly even more insufferable here than she is in the present, but in a completely different way. Awful. Decent taste in music at least tho Patti being Laurie's patient and eventually converting her to her side was another pretty cool twist. The idea kinda reminded me of the Rorschach/therapist chapter in Watchmen. Wouldn't be surprised if Damon drew off that since he's said that book's his favorite piece of media ever something I'm wondering that isn't related to this episode is what was up with that Nat Geo magazine?? That's one of the most intriguing things of the season for me. I hope they get back to it, unless they're just writing it off as "lol Kevin's dad is craaazy" which would be ehh

Laurie screaming "JILL!" gave me chills. It was inevitable that they'd get her to speak at some point, and they utilized it brilliantly (mostly credit to the actress) The whole Mapleton-gone-to-shit sequence was good...if you can get past Kevin running through a burning house for a couple minutes and somehow not suffocating/burning, not to mention Jill not getting a single burn. Suspension of disbelief etc but c'mon. It actually would've been more affecting and powerful if some of her face was burned up after that. There'd actually be some kind of cost to her actions (and Laurie's actions, by extension) Other than that, the rest was okay, not too much stood out to me. I liked Kevin reuniting with the dog. And Patti's out of the blue lap dance. "NOT...DEEP...ENOUGH!"

overall season was not bad not great will probably give S2 a shot

I still have like 4 episodes of this to catch up on. I'm annoyed they haven't released this on blu-ray yet - not until October >:O and I can't watch HBO Go on my Fire TV because Charter doesn't support it :') so I'm going to have to watch on my laptop, which I hate doing. I think I might just re-watch the entire season though since it's been a year.
