Just saw it, really enjoyed it. Might have been a TAD overhyped but whatever (: I really liked every one of the Guardians. Drax was my least favorite but even he had some great moments. Groot was the best. Reminded me a lot of Hodor actually (:

Not sure if I'd say this was my favorite Marvel movie but it's definitely up there with Iron Man 1 and 3. Nothing else besides those three really comes close

Assuming they do merge with the Avengers universe at some point (which I'm guessing they will once Thanos comes into play) I'd love to see this crew interact with those characters. Especially Peter and Tony Stark

Agreed on the overhype. I enjoyed it, but I found myself so critical of it after being told what an amazing experience it was. It was above-average fair that felt a little shaky sometimes. It was also hard to take Chris Pratt as anyone but Andy Dwyer.

I'd see it again fersure tho, which I can't say for most movies. Dancing baby groot is clearly my favorite thing, and I found Rocket's drunken monologue to be very moving.

Also knowing what Lee Pace is capable of, he was nothing but boring-1D-space villain in this movie. Neither terrifying nor entertaining. Thanos was underwhelming as well.

I'd hate to see this movie after reading too many reviews too, I tried to read as few as possible because I knew I'd get overhyped. I'm sure you'd love it a bit more if you went in more blind

i liked it.

I finally got to see it and I was thoroughly pleased! I didn't see many commercials for it on TV, but I saw a LOT of gifs of it on tumblr, which made me want to see it (other than my fascination that Karen Gillian is playing a hot alien villain). I don't think I had one character I disliked, Groot was one of my favorites, along with Yondu and his magic whistle arrow (I need one of those in real life!).

It came before it. Guardians of the Galaxy is the spin off movie. Seriously though, anyone remember that movie? I used to love it as a kid. It was on tv recently, and it's terrible. lol

Would be awesome if the Guardians and the Avengers ever crossed paths.

It lived up to everything ever. Groot is the bessst

FINALLY saw this. It was great. And since it's the first Marvel movie since Iron Man 2 I've sat through and wasn't suffering from a corrupted appendix during I think it's the best.
