Just got this and played it for a bit tonight I'm a black orc named Sue. My first act after I escaped from the dragon was to attack a chicken, which led an entire village to turn against me

loool this just happened to me. I was leaving the village and I shot a chicken with an arrow, then suddenly intense music started playing and people started punching me in the back of the head

lol I actually ventured back into that village after that for some reason. Maybe I thought they'd forgive and forget (: It all was going well and I was able to enter this one dude's house and speak amicably with him. And then his crazy wife came CHARGING into the room and started beating on me, telling me I wasn't wanted here. I fled from the village again but this bitch wouldn't stop following me, so I ended up pulling out my sword to confront her on the bridge and slayed her in full view of all the villagers. BOY were they pissed!

What happens when you need to do an objective but you damaged your relationship with the village for shooting one of the children through their eye with an arrow? Asking for a friend

Get arrested and pay your fine, as far as I know that should make it so that the village isn't hostile.

If the guards are attacking you on sight, take out and then quickly put away your weapon. That'll yield to them, which will make them go back to STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM mode.

CHARACTER: I chose a Wood Elf. Not sure if that was a bad call or not, but I like stealth and archery a lot and always play that way. My guy has red war paint across his face that looks like blood and one white eye/one red eye. And red hair of course

GOOD CHOICE

My first few attempts at playing I tried being a tank with heavy armor and a warhammer, then I tried to do magic, but when I went archery/stealth style I NEVER WENT BACK. There's nothing more satisfying than clearing out an entire dungeon without anyone noticing you were there.

Only works sometimes, when least convenient. /SKYRIM

Archery is best spec I played. It was like a medieval FPS.

I got one of my followers to pick up a giant's bone club once and smack people around with it.

Also does anyone else think the FORSWORN are way harder to fight than any other foe in the game? Maybe its just because I focus on stealth at the expense of melee, and they hang out in those little tents and swarm immediately, but my tank would usually get taken out by those fucks. Mage too.

Necromancers are annoying in melee but they go down so easily with stealth and a good poisoned arrow.

Dragon fights are always exciting but I never feel like I'm going to lose

Giants are pretty much insta-kill at lower levels unless you have a lot of time and rock jumping skills at your disposal, but they dont fuck with you until you mess with them (or until lydia runs straight through their camp like an idiot)

Falmer and Chaurus are pretty awful too. I honestly have trouble understanding why the Foresworn or Falmer have not conquered skyrim.

Because they lack real order.

I'm personally going to be pissed if they don't make an Elder Scrolls VI with a big plot surrounding the Thalmor.

Ugggh, I went into a Falmar cave at a really low level to just explore the first time I played. The chittering of the Chaurus scarred me permanently.

And yes, Forsworn are assholes. I only dealt with them once but I remember conquering them was probably the most satisfied I ever felt playing Skyrim.

I killed a forsworn leader once by pickpocketting his heart. Proudest I've ever felt
