My reasoning for switching to the Vic lynch was that it would either clear or condemn you, since it was either you or Vic that could have been responsible for Angi's death. My thinking was that we should clear that up first and save Mal for the next day.

That's exactly why I find it suspicious though (: You saving Mal for the next day would mean you could recruit him in the night

Of course, Mal would probably just get killed the next day anyway, but there's always the slim hope of a better lead coming about and distracting us for another day

It really just seemed like the best idea at the time. Mal was very scummy indeed, and I thought we should use the time to clear up other less obvious suspects. I wanted us to lynch Vic to find out whose side you were on. It seemed like the best idea at the time.
